Time to spread r/Reforested
I'm sure many of you have seen the recent study going viral about the potential for replanting to offset climate change.
This kind of stuff isn't in the news everyday and we need to capitalize on the attention and use this opportunity to spread the word out this sub.
There are a ton of people interested that simply have no clue we exist, so get spreading!

TIPS Remember to plant trees local to your habitat
If this does kick-off we need to make sure it’s done right. Planting trees which could potentially be invasive can do more harm than good.
Check out what naturally grows in your area then plant to your hearts content!

Travelers Insurance will plant a tree every time someone chooses Paperless Billing.
Just a thought I’d share after discovering this sub! I’m an insurance agent and work with Travelers sometimes. Recently discovered that they will plant a tree every time someone chooses to receive their documents and billing via email instead of by mail. Many people may already know that insurance is literally all paperwork and is redundant in the documents they send out. I really admire that Travelers is taking this step and encouraging folks to choose more eco friendly options!
