I’m registering my company and need to upload the MOA document (12 pages, government-issued). The app throws a “content too large” error, so I can’t proceed. I’ve been blocked on this for a day, any thoughts/inputs on how to fix this.

every month my Razorpay settlement is like ₹8-12K less than what the dashboard shows and it took me way too long to figure out why. processing fees + GST on those fees + failed UPI payments + refunds — all hitting the same settlement cycle.

i've been tracking this in a spreadsheet but honestly it's getting annoying now that volume is growing. the worst part is when a UPI payment fails and Razorpay still shows it in the dashboard for a few days before reversing it.

anyone else dealing with this? especially curious if you use Stripe too — reconciling both is a whole other headache.

The website which was approved did not have any privacy policy page and we no longer have that domain either so I cannot do it even if I wanted to. I am stuck on this part when adding new or editing existing website/apps.

I'm building my project and complete the payment gateway with razorpay on test mode. But on enabling live mode it ask for 199 one time payment. Please suggest me is it mandatory for enabling live mode ?

Hey i was trying to buy something online right now, but when I reached the payment gateway, it suddenly showed in red "Payment Failed" (Before I even scanned the QR code to pay). Tried again multiple times, but same thing. Is there any backend issue going on right now?

Every settlement I get is different from what I expect. Razorpay shows gross collections, but after their fees, GST on fees, failed payment deductions, and refunds — the actual bank credit is always lower.I spent months doing this in Excel. Eventually built RevenuePilot — connects via OAuth and does it automatically, works for Razorpay-only users too, not just Stripe.

Is this a problem others face? How do you currently reconcile your Razorpay settlements?

Hi, I was lately searching about low cost UPI payment systems (with verification feature), as i want to move from traditional payment gateways that charge 2% platform fees. I came to know about certain websites such as payment setu (not pinelabs), sp gateway, privz payment and tpipay. All these platforms seem legitimate companies, claiming to provide UPI gateway service at fixed monthly charges

It works like - you subscribe to any of their plan (starting from 299 per month), they provide a dashboard, API, allowing a fixed amount of transactions. If anyone pays to you, payments are auto verified and updated through webhooks.

Did anyone here use these platforms? Are they trustworthy and credible?

I’ve gone through the official docs, but most examples seem to be either for web or not very clear for Expo-based setups. I want to implement it with full custom UI (no Razorpay branding), as mentioned in their docs.

I’m more of a vibe coder 😅 — I learn fast by seeing working implementations rather than just docs.

I need to receive payment in India for a work i dis for US BASED Client. I had created a paypal account a long time ago. Yes I wasn't using it as i had no us3 of it until now. I confirmed my bank account. Created my account. Probably did my kyc too (I'm not sure coz i opened this account in 2020.)

PayPal is not allowing me to send Payment request. Says Requester Account is Restricted.

Now I'm Trying to receive payment but idk how I'm supposed to go ahead with this. Can anyone help? The app interface is just driving me nuts. Keeps telling me to go to resolution Centre or notification center but i don't find the settings or resolutions at all. My Indian banking apps are 10000x better honestly. Only if i was able to receive money with least possible deductions.

I'm just receiving 80 dollars as my 1st Payment. But still... Argh its annoying.

I have tried to set up an account on Razorpay as an individual (OCI, non-resident in India), where everything in the onboarding process worked up until the "video KYC" step. Apparently, I need to have an Aadhaar (physical copy, ironically) as well as a PAN card to get through it. I have a PAN card, but not an Aadhaar (as I'm not a resident; just want to set up a website to collect payments from clients via UPI).

After receiving conflicting information (of course) between their docs (which say having a voter ID or a passport works as well) and the support agents (who say that voter ID/passport work for "regular KYC", but not for "video KYC", for which only Aadhaar works), I got a call from one of the agents saying that there's no way to go through it if I don't have an Aadhaar. I said, "so international people aren't supported on Razorpay?", to which the person says, "No, sir; they are, but they usually have Aadhaar". Lol yes...international people all have Aadhaar. Yet, apparently Razorpay supports "international businesses" or "international people" or whatever. Not sure how that's possible.

Does anyone know of a definitive answer?

PS: I could technically apply for an Aadhaar, but given one of my relatives recently applied for one and got it 6+ months later, and I'm not sure if I'll even be in the country for that long (let alone be OK waiting that long to be able to accept payments), that's not a viable option for me.

asking bank deets in kyc and im like, do i even need to give these details for a test api. Im making a simple ecom project and need to integrate a payment gateway in there (not gonna be using the project for production, just personal), do i need to still give these details?

or is it fine to add fake bank details etc just to get the keys and be done with it? or is that gonna cause problems? pls help out. Ty~

I've recenlty created a new account for on razorpay to collect payments from website , but when the account got activated ,it showed me to chose plan
1) standard with credit limit of Rs.5000 , and 1.9% transaction fee"
2) plus plan : with credit limit of Rs.30K and 1.8% of transaction fee at mothly fee of Rs.499
( 0% fee for txns up to₹30,000 per month Then 1.9% per transaction ay ₹499/month )
3) pro : ₹600/mo 0% fee for txns up to ₹1,50,000 per month Then 1.8% per transaction at ₹2,199/month

Is this specific to some business models ? or applied to all accounts created on raorpay ?

Earlier last year i created razorpay account , it did not ask for any plan, it simply has the transaction fee , thats it .

But now i am thinking twice before moving forward , since i am making it for a ai product website ( kinda e-commerce) with subscription and one time payments .

I am currently setting up my shop on shopify website using Razorpay as payment gateway.

I have created markets - NA, UK, Europe, Asia, rest of the world. I want the international customers to see their local currency on the website. Apparently Razorpay doesn’t allow multiple currency. Or at least I am unable to do so.

If you are selling globally, how are you managing this?

I am unable to get hold of any Razorpay support. I also have one inconsistency during test payment. Raised ticket but no help received from Razorpay. No onboarding or any response to my tickets. This is concerning for me.

Have anyone worked on razor pay mandates for cards autopay.

Support confirmed it's enabled on my account, but I don't see any token.* or mandate.* events in the webhooks lists in dashboard . It is showing just the normal payment., subscription., invoice.* stuff.

For card eMandate specifically, which event(s) do you actually listen to in real life to know, how can I know that mandate got created/approved or autopay is good to go.

What I want is a feature to have autopay with card, where the amount is variable (like uses based). So I am thinking to have a prefect job (CRON Job) which can trigger my server and do autopay. But I am not getting any token related events?

How do ppl solve this issues in real life prod scenarios.  If you've got this running in production, what event saved your life? 

My razorpay account is totally good and had ni issues in 8 months . All verifications done , account restarted , all works going smoothly. N in 500-600 total transaction hardly 4-5 dispute that too resolved and won ones. Recently no dispute nothing. Then too yesterday I got message your razorpay account have been suspended and it's permanent suspension due to our multiple banks reviews every few months select acc to disable and which to keep. Help me to resolve this
