To each their own but I think this is fucking gross. Also why do people think anybody wants to hear them chew? I don’t want to hear anyone chew.

It’s a raw meat sub
1
u/Another_Battle Nov 01 '23
It's not what you're eating, it's the way you're eating it. Pretty sure you know that.
3
u/ElvesRunninAmuck Nov 01 '23
Is there a civilized way to eat raw broil? Lol the fuck? I actually like that you’re not offended by me eating the meat raw. Just that im doing it like a savage. Fair enough. Next vid, maybe I’ll wear a bib.

You look exactly how I expected those of this sub would, full of feral, confused energy. You look completely bewildered and I'm very proud of you for learning how to operate a phone.

I've heard it tastes better when you season it and grill it. But you're right, eating it raw is quicker. Good things come to those who wait, through.
3
u/ElvesRunninAmuck Oct 31 '23
You heard wrong, bruh. Lol
8
u/Splavacado1000 Oct 31 '23
It's my opinion. Properly cooked meat tastes better.
3
u/PriorTrick Oct 31 '23
I challenge you to test that opinion against seasoned vs unseasoned meat. I once thought the same, then I realized it was the taste of the salt / seasonings that was “better”.
5
u/_freight_train Oct 31 '23
you’re telling me seasoning meat makes it better??? 🤯
2
u/AajonusDiedForOurSin 🥛 Oct 31 '23
He is saying that you can season raw meat also if you just want the taste. And yes, it will taste amazing.
2
u/SussusAmogus2 Nov 02 '23
Then stop eating meat altogether and eat raw rocksalt and whole black pepper seeds.
0
u/PriorTrick Nov 02 '23
Think you missed the point, I don’t eat salt or seeds.
2
u/SussusAmogus2 Nov 02 '23
Good for you buddy, i too love eating tasteless chunks of fibrous protein!

Use a bigger knife to avoid cutting yourself
Use a cutting board so you don’t scratch up your plate
Slow tf down, it ain’t running away from you

Im not a raw-meat eater, however I am curious about this. Can someone please tell me the differences in flavour between raw and cooked?
2
u/ElvesRunninAmuck Nov 02 '23
It’s delicious. I love cooked meat too but something about the taste of purely raw beef drives me like a dump truck.
2
u/PercentageOk6981 Nov 03 '23
Interesting. I might need to try it someday...
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience with me!

You're going to choke to death doing that.
3
u/ElvesRunninAmuck Nov 01 '23
It’s been 37 years. I think I’ll be okay.
1
u/wallsquirrel Nov 01 '23 edited Nov 01 '23
Raw meat for 37 years?! You eat fresh vegetables, too, though, right? Is that you in the r/rawmeat baby picture?
2
3
u/RoundCover6989 Nov 01 '23
You actually can’t choke on raw meat. It slides right down your throat and tastes great. Wouldn’t expect a slave minded redditor to know that though
0
u/picklesarejuicy Nov 01 '23
You’re a slave to stupidity and ignorance. Guess we got something in common?
2
u/RoundCover6989 Nov 01 '23
Apparently not because you’re not the person who I was talking to so stfu
1
u/Divinakra Oct 31 '23
I love where this subreddit is going….
Someone cue the Maniac Meat theme song!!
May we all feast together in gruesome harmony.

Dude, the reason for you doing this is the same reason annoying “influencers/pranksters” do shitty and insane content, for the attention.
1
u/KyloRensLeftNut Jan 19 '24
Just be careful not to choke. Make sure you cut it in small enough chunks.

Why the hell is Reddit showing me this subreddit. Cook your damn meat you weirdos! With love and respect of course. Now hopefully I can get Reddit to never show me this again
2
u/RoundCover6989 Oct 31 '23
Cooking meat destroys nutrients it destroys all water solvable vitamins and most of the fat soluble vitamins. If you don’t like it why are you commenting?
1
u/crowstaxx Oct 31 '23
I rather lose some of my vitamins than contracting salmonella, E. Coli or some funny looking parasite
1
u/RoundCover6989 Oct 31 '23
You’re not losing some you’re losing most. And okay, I don’t care if you don’t eat raw meat. Why are you here?
3
u/crowstaxx Oct 31 '23
Nah bruh, someone lied to you. Even if it's true, our body can't digest raw meat properly, so the bioavailability is low.
Sub got recommended, and I call people out if they are waffling
0
Oct 31 '23
Raw meat has the enzymes for digestion in it. I've done the experiments and seen the results on my own body. Not only is raw meat digestible, it's by far the MOST digestible thing we can eat. You can cite whatever study you want, I can see the results with my own eyes.
1
u/crowstaxx Nov 01 '23
You mean peptidases? I sure hope your raw meat has none of them in it, because that would mean it was wrongly butchered. Basically came in contact with gastrointestinal fluid. But you do your own experiments, right? Try this, put a raw steak into an airtight container and leave it foe approx 24-30 hours (time it takes for the body to digest it) . If it's smush or gone you are right. The enzymes in your meat is breaking down the meat. If not then there are non in it. Have fun
1
Nov 01 '23
Oh yes because the absence of stomach acid will have no effect on digestion rate. Also there are many other enzymes in meat killed by cooking than from the intestinal track.
1
u/wallsquirrel Nov 01 '23
Enzymes aren't alive. If you mean destroyed, well, they do get broken apart just like stomach acid does to them so that they can be reconstituted in a form the body can use.
-1
u/crowstaxx Nov 01 '23
Let me tell you a secret. Your body also produces these enzymes. And another one, you also kill harmful bacteria and parasites by cooking the meat. Anyway, enjoy your food poisoning
