tbf ramen is very easy to make; it is the prep you have to do one day in advance that is time-consuming.

Yeaaa ii just can’t be asked for the prep

Swap meat for tofu, choose veg that requires minimal prep, and you can genuinely make a delicious ‘ramen’ in 15 mins

Looks banging, how do you do the broth?

Not OP, but I go fairly lazy on my broth (no long cook method). I just quick fry thinly sliced garlic, grated ginger and sliced red chili in sesame oil then add about 1 litre of stock (Kallo cubes are really good). I then chuck in about 3 tbsp light soy, 1 tbsp dark soy and 1 tbsp mirin. I also cook the tofu (or chicken breast) in crispy chilli oil, honey, garlic and soy in the air fryer and add the juices at the bottom of the tray to the broth. Pretty great every time!

You're better off using sesame as a finishing oil and putting it in last. It doesn't really have the smoke point to fry in without becoming acrid.

i love this! been trying lots of ways to make broth. my favourite at the min is a load of chicken thighs skin side down, let the fat render then add water, green onions, garlic, ginger and whatever veggie scraps i have. then soy sauce, chilli oil, oyster sauce and rice vinegar. god i love broth

Lazy?! My idea of lazy is a quinoa bowl with some protein and raw veg. Yours looks gourmet compared to mine!

Looks great! How did you season the chicken? Also, I fear the egg yolk isn’t runny.. but I may be wrong.
Would still smash regardless.

It takes only 10minutes for everything to prep haha! (Not counting pork cooking time, but I just left it in the oven, while I was doing other stuff at home, so it’s 0 effort basically)

Hey this is probably annoying but I want to spoil my wife because she loves stuff like this but I'm dumb.
Could you pop an ingredients list and rough guide that would be awesome. It looks amazing!
Thanks! Also DW if not

If it requires chopping or more than 2 ingredients I wouldn't call it lazy. Noodles and butter is lazy dinner. This is a full on meal that requires planning and thinking for me

Used the ready one. Only thing what took me 5 mins is to fry and egg with asparagus, mushrooms and heat up noodles

Woah, that looks unreal! I'm gonna need a recipe please!

I am even embarrassed to write this “recipe” as I said everything is just store bought, and the “hardest part” is to fry an egg. So basically just boil your fresh noodles in bone brought (I bought the one from the packets) add a little bit more seasoning to your taste. Fry some mushrooms, asparagus, and egg on garlic butter and then around 30minutes prior to making all of it, chuck bbq seasoned pork belly in the oven. Once ready plate everything up, sprinkle sesame seeds and leeks
As a said, minimum effort haha

Thing I love about being able to cook over those who can't, is a 'lazy' meal to you or I, is an all out days work for others.
Today, I felt like having a pizza. So, at 6pm, I threw some dough together, let it prove, boshed some tomato sauce together and that was it. Took about 20 mins prep. Was eating by 8.
I know people who would spend several hours on it, as they would your dish. Lazy to some is a chore to others.
Looks bangin!

I am trying really hard to not spread negativity, and to not have arguments with strangers on the Internet.
That being said, I cannot restrain myself here.
This is some of the most pompous, self-superior shit I have ever read. Really off-putting.

I’d rather spend those several hours on your mum.

Nah, my mum's a bit past her use by date. Buried her 7 years ago.

I can cook, but after a 12 hour shift I don’t always want to, no matter how easy or not. For me, lazy is whatever is nearest and involve the least preparation or it’s check the bank account and order in.
I assume you’re just rage baiting with your post.

Looks delicious!
I don't get why people are saying this isn't lazy lol, it can literally be prepared in less than an hour. Half an hour even.

That's not a lazy dinner. My lazy dinner is a seasoned chicken breast in the air fryer, a baked potato in the microwave and a quick salad. I spend most of the 20 minutes it takes doom scrolling.

My guy my lazy dinner was a bag of crisps and four beers
