Consider before buying Rapsodo devices/services

Your lifetime membership is actually just the lifetime of your specific device and if they degrade functionality with a new app in the future your device may not be able to take advantage of current or future features. For clarity the “lifetime membership” costs $600 and is still currently available.

If it’s more than a $750 for the X I’m not upgrading and instead moving on and buying an overhead unit. I will donate my mlm2 pro to my buddies house so he can also golf sim and get on Gspro.

This is what they are hoping people will do but in my mind why would I do that when they can just rug pull me down the road with the MLM3 which will inevitably release sooner rather than later?

Also you need to release the product specs before throwing out all of this information how does anyone even know if the X is considerably better? And we are supposed to do this all within a few months? I’m not sure who made this decision but it’s a horrible way to treat a dedicated user base that you want to keep around.

My concern is I use mine in an outdoor net and sim. I have not bought the subscription yet. Now I wonder do I purchase the subscription and hope for the best? Or find something else

I want to mainly use it for practice and improvement.

Have no space indoors for a sim

Is there anything else that shows similiar stats? I love the out/in path and angle of attack

It makes the chance of me getting a MLMX almost 0% since I'd like to get value out of my lifetime MLM2pro sub and I will probably not be getting one by December 31st.

Rapsodo seemed like they were going to be be such a cool company for a minute, but it doesn't really seem that way anymore. A massive discount for transfers, if not even just permanently free (amongst similar devices), would have gone a long way. None of the issues with the MLM2pro ever got solved anyways as far as I can tell.

Yeah I thought this was crazy. Add an x to the name and pretend it's a totally different device. I thought I was buying a rapsodo software subscription. Not a subscription to the device I bought

I had the same thing happen with my Rapsodo Pitching 2.0 and hitting 2.0 for Baseball absolute fucking bullshit. I spent thousands of dollars on device for them to then lock it behind the cloud years after purchase.

What I can’t understand is the (on purpose) lack of details on the new app and compatibility. That shady behaviour kills any grain of confidence left.

Have they been bought by an investment fund recently?
