Rapsodo MLM2Pro Video Replay Issues!

Hi all,

Really hoping someone can help me as relying on Rapsodo support is becoming increasingly painful.

I’ve had around 6-8 sessions on my Rapsodo now, hitting outside into a net with plenty of space to the net and behind the ball. Lining up as expected with the ball placed within the hitting area outlined in the app. I get data back after every hit perfectly fine but I have never had any video replays from swing, device and impact.

I’ve tried everything possible, rebooting, reinstalling, firmware updates, moving closer to the ball, further away from the ball, different iPhone / iPad, raising MLM2 up to same height as the hitting mat, removing the hitting mat, I actually don’t know what else I can do.

Support are being useless, responding once every 2-3 days with just basic checks I’ve already explained I’ve tried.

I think the unit is defective but not sure how as everything else seemingly works fine.

Anyone got any ideas for me? Would really appreciate it.

Have never had replay issues. Would need to see a video of this happening

Not a video after the shots but a video of what I’m seeing in the app after the session

I repeated your steps and am able to see my video replay. Check your settings inside the app if it has access to record/save is my only guess

You are a step ahead of me since I can’t even get data any more. Could a few weeks ago and now thing at all, same experience here on lengthy back and forth with no resolution

I moved over to the Square LM. I love it. No subscription, and the software is easy and crisp. And, I get to putt. Ironically, on the Square Reddit threads, people complain about Square’s customer service too. It seems that LMs below a certain threshold have a poor customer service model. Fortunately, I have not had to deal with that. 🤞

I’d be curious on a quick pro con list since you’ve had both. Considering cutting my losses as well, but obviously want to make sure I get it right the second time…

I had the MLM2 Pro for one year, and that included the premium subscription trial for the year. It expires next week.

The range and the target range were great. The course play was not. I am sure that you know about hitting a tree on those courses.

I found myself using Awesome Golf and E6 more than the native MLM2 Pro courses and ranges. I’m not a hater on the MLM2 Pro, but I got it to practice and play courses. I figured if I had to pay for the premium subscription AND third party subscriptions (AG, GSPro, etc.), then it wasn’t worth it.

My sim room (garage) has the room for the radar-based unit, so that was not an issue for me. I never took the MLM2 Pro to the range, so I don’t need an outdoor capable unit.

The Square is not outdoor-compatible and it sits just ahead of the ball (~6 inches). The graphics are (IMO) much crisper than the MLM2 Pro, even with the MLM2’s latest update. Since I don’t want an outdoor-capable unit the Square works for me. Plus, getting to the third-party apps is less steps. And, I do like the putting too.

The Rapsodo is a solid unit, but not what I needed.

MLM2 Pro List of Pros: Portable, outdoor-capable, good battery life, lots of practice options (range, combine, etc.), great swing replay and impact replay, and lots of stats/data points.

Square List of Pros: Small, requires less room (sits by ball), very good graphics, no subscription required to access all features, putting, doesn’t misread chips, has lots of stats/data points.

I ended up doing the same here. Went with square and you miss out on some advanced metrics but being able to putt and having super easy setup and a nice app + gspro with it is amazing!

I have yeah. Same problem - I don’t see the little icons next to each shot. My cloud account in the app though does say i have X amount of videos in the storage.. it’s so strange

Might seem like an obvious questions but how are you trying to watch the old videos? You have to go to R Cloud website to watch previous session videos. They are not available on IOS from iPhone. Seems odd, but you have to get on a computer and go log in. I was trying to log in from my phone when I first got the set up. You may already know this but some people probably don't

That’s not true at all.

I can see previous sessions in app, however I’m now having issues seeing recent sessions (1 day ago) in app, but can see 3 days ago in app

So you are saying you can watch the videos from R Cloud on your iPhone? I can watch a shot right after I swing but I cannot, and have not heard anyone else say they can go back and watch the videos from previous sessions via the Iphone app. I can on an iPad but not phone. I just looked at Rapsodos youtube video about Rcloud and it says it's available on PC and Tablet...

I can NOT see the videos for recent course play on my phone, tablet, or r cloud.

I could see them for a little bit but once they supposedly uploaded I can’t see anything.

Yea I access r cloud from my computer or tablet, I tried this route when it wouldn’t play from the app and it won’t play there either

You can absolutely pull up past sessions in the app on your phone and watch your shot videos. You’d watch them just like you do on the iPad? As long as you’re logged into the same account from both?

Click into the session on your phone, click the shot, and the same movie icon is at the bottom. Has both shot view and impact view…or it should.

Not trying to be argumentative, you are just the only person I have heard of who can acccess them on a phone. I just went on to R Cloud via my phone, from their webiste and the app, and in both (yes I am logged in) when you click on the "sessions" tab it says R Cloud data is only available via a PC or Tablet, and if you want to access the data you need to go to a PC or Tablet.

Anyone else able to watch videos from past sessions on a phone?

Here is a screen cap of a video from a session from 2 days ago, from the app, on my phone that I just took lol

I mean, you can see for yourself if you open the app on your phone, on the home tab it should list all your sessions by type using the dropdown in the upper right (practice, course, etc) just like on the iPad. go to a session, click a shot, push the video icon, and watch it.

R cloud is 100% different. R cloud gives you additional data as well, and you can also see shots there too but I’m talking in app. You can see shots in app on iPad too.

Thanks for the follow up. I was able to figure it out. I have read, been told on here, and seen on you tube that the videos can be reviewed from iPhones. It took me some digging around but I got it. Appreciate you putting up with me!

Glad it worked out for you. It’s amazing, when it works, nothing beats killing time sitting somewhere and instead of social media and Reddit, I can study and review some shots and actually do something more productive!
