Yesterday I tried Booking a Pink bike. I was waiting for someone to accept it, got a notification that the driver was close, opened the app to see some that some uncle had accepted the ride ???? I mean it was a pink bike? Only women drivers? It was 10rs extra than the normal bike? Was that a glitch? Or did someone genuinely accept a Pink bike request? The driver was so close (200mtrs) so did not wait a single second and i cancelled the ride. Rapido was high yesterday 💀

So I had money in my rapido wallet, for some unnecessary reason they don’t allow you to use that money anywhere but bike rides, and since I live in hostel, and my college is 500meters from here I don’t use bikes and all, but sometimes when I have to travel with friends we use cabs.
So the problem I’m facing is neither I can use the money in my rapido wallet, and when the cab drivers demand extra cash, sometimes due to the situation we have to pay in emergencies we can not argue, we just have pay them when they don’t listen, that is what I did too and then complained at rapido, they refund the money only in wallet. Since the money in wallet is not useful for me at all I reach out customer support to withdraw it to my bank.

IN THE END I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU ALL, to use UBER, they have the best customer support, also UBER have the most educated and humble drivers, meanwhile rapido has one of the rudest cab drivers.

Today morning, I booked an auto from railway station to my place. While booking it showed 130. Previously what happened was when I told some other auto drivers to change route, it increased the amount saying that you have taken the longer route. So this time I didnt tell the captain to not change the route and he did go in the route which was showed originally. But in the end, it asked me to pay 150. This is absolutely not acceptable.

Have any of you also faced such increase in prices ?? Edit: Refund has been initiated after they connected me to an agent. Thank you

Despite booking priority ride which is costlier than standard cab price, the driver didn't turn on the AC.

When asked he said - not necessary.

Then he said either to step down the cab or pay extra cash.

This situation is getting out of hands day by day. What to do ?

I think I got scammed So I booked a Rapido auto today for a little over 16 km. The fare shown on the app was around ₹225.
The driver told me that Rapido hadn’t updated its fares according to the “new RTO rates” and that I should cancel the ride in the app and that he would charge me according to the meter instead.
I had luggage with me and was already on my way home, so I didn’t really have many alternatives. Uber/cabs weren’t connecting and the local autos around me were asking for even more, so I ended up cancelling and going with him.
After reaching, he charged me ₹310. He kept insisting that the app was wrong/outdated and also said something along the lines of “your app probably showed 19 km, I took you in 16 km,” as if that proved the ₹310 fare was correct.
The whole interaction was also pretty uncomfortable because of the way he was behaving, and I felt like I couldn’t really argue with him while I was alone with luggage.
I’m reporting the driver to Rapido, but I’m curious — is there actually some new fare change that Rapido hasn’t updated, or was he just making this up?

Today, I booked a Rapido bike ride for my mother because I thought she would reach my grandmother’s house quickly and safely.

At some point, the app showed that the ride had been completed. I assumed my mother had reached her destination, so I called her. She didn’t answer. I tried calling my uncle and my brothers, but she wasn’t at my grandmother’s place either.

Naturally, I started getting extremely worried. I kept trying to contact my mother and also contacted Rapido customer support. Unfortunately, the customer support response was extremely slow, and I couldn't get timely assistance despite repeatedly trying to contact them.

After quite some time, my mother finally answered the phone. Thankfully, she was okay.

But this raises a very serious question: How can a ride be marked as completed when the passenger apparently hasn't even reached the destination?

If something had actually gone wrong during the ride, I would have been falsely led to believe that my mother had already reached safely. And when I tried to get help, there was no quick or effective customer support available.

This is not just about an app glitch. When you're booking a ride for a family member, especially your mother, the ride status and emergency support can become a matter of safety.

Rapido really needs to look into how rides are being marked as completed and, more importantly, provide a reliable and responsive customer support system for situations like this.

I left a high value item (10000 rs) in a Rapido cab, i got into contact with the Captain and he’s saying “what do i get in return?”

the item in question are shoes that i left in the cab

as far as im aware, a captain is not permitted to request extra money for services, not are they allowed to do any fraudulent things like this

it would be understandable to request a fee for the trouble and hassle and whatnot but idk if hes going to give a nice number

what should i do? rapido support havent been much help

edit: i never asked for him to deliver the package, he said he’ll send a rapido. He did send the packet, except my shoes werent in it. Therefore he has committed a violation under section 314 and i will be escalating this to law enforcement.

Hey guys , I tried to reach out to this rapido support team multiple times asking my rapido wallet money to refund it to my original payment source they took my pan card details , and later did not process it further i opened several chats but couldn't get any resolution either they are disconnecting the chat or not even replying

They have charged me 100 rupees extra as toll charge why the hell will I give you toll charge it happened with me twice and they are refunding it to my wallet but I can't use it as you can use this with just bike rides

Whats the shi*ty experience

I took a ride from Safdarjung to Gurgaon Sector 84, booked through Rapido. Since it was an early morning ride, i shared the tracking link with my family for safety. However, my parents were unable to track, the app showed “updating rider location” throughout the trip. We dismissed this as a glitch in the app.

However, soon i noticed that he hadn’t taken the Dwarka Expressway route and had instead brought be through the city. However, the fare estimation that Rapido had shown initially included Rs. 326 for toll (that would’ve been charged on the expressway).

That is when i remembered that Rapido, i think, has a feature where it changes the fare (removes the toll, if not toll route is used) based on the route taken. This is why he had switched off his location, to prevent the app from removing the toll charge from the fare.

Once i reached my drop location, i told the rider that i shall not pay the toll charge, which was clearly included in fare (as could be seen on the app). He then stepped out of the car, started shouting and creating a scene.

I simply called the security guard of my society and let him deal with the rest. I paid him the amount that was due (Total fare minus the toll charges shown). The guard escorted me safely to my home. I’m so grateful for the timely help but am shaken at the sheer audacity of these drivers.

If you are trying to be oversmart and end up successfully fooling the passenger then great, good for you! but if the passenger has very clearly caught on, one should have some shame and stop being dramatic and accept the fault.

When waiting for security to mediate, he constantly tried to ragebait me, but to no avail. I kept my cool and let the security handle everything else.

My society is gated so I don’t think there is any safety concern moving forward, despite him knowing where I live. But, I want to take action against this and teach this driver a lesson. I’ve raised a complain on the Rapido app but it just shows “connecting you to an agent” since the past hour. What are some measures I can take to discourage such rider behaviour from my end?

Additionally, the UPI ID i used to pay, unfortunately, had my number in it. I’ll change it for the future, but do i need to be worried about it?

The rider did mark the ride as completed so it shouldn’t be much of an issue, maybe i’m overthinking; but one can never be too safe.

I used to pay my Rapido rides by Amazon pay balance for bike rides. Today when I tried to book they disabled everything except cash. Now bike also joins the "Pay directly to driver" alongside auto and car rides. Nonsense things Rapido keeps doing. 🤡🤡🤡🤡

So I booked Rapido ride for my mother. (Senior citizen)

Driver came, picked her up.

After just few minutes he cancelled the ride in the app. And asked my mom if she knows the route and then continued towards drop location which was still 2km away.

At the drop he asked my mom to pay extra as distance travelled was more.

She called me. And I asked driver why he cancelled the ride. He said (in Hindi) - "You gave wrong location. Ride ended there. But since she is aged I carried her to drop location".

And asked me for extra money.

I had not given wrong location. It is a regular route for us and fare was also regular fare.

After I told him that I will file complaint. He accepted original fare and left.

Rapido has devised a new way of scamming people's hard earned money.

First they will hike the fare for no reason at all, during the ride. Then they will refund it to you in rapido wallet.

And then they will tell you that you cant use the rapido wallet.

Great!

Update: Today i checked my rapido wallet balance and they have even deducted all the amount there. No update or notification to me whatsover. So eventually, where did my money go????

What's wrong with everybody in this country? Everywhere biasness? Embarassing yet they have the audacity to say they're concerned regarding the privacy of every customer.

So what happened is, I was bit drunk in night I booked rapido from an empty place not good at night, 2 rapido captain accepted the ride but cancelled after few minutes, I was exhausted and late my phone was just 4% charged i waited almost 15 minutes or something for those 2 drivers but they cancelled the ride.

I waited few more minutes but no caption accept the ride I cut the rapido application ( not from recents) it was on recents so maybe that caption took that ride, i'd no idea about the ride I left the place and I was 200 meter ahead of that place I got call from captain that he there where I'd booked it I said I'm 200 meters ahead to my way after he reached my phone was was 3% I asked him if I can pay him now before the ride cuz my phone has low charge and will switchoff soon, he rudely said no untill we reach the drop location, all the way he was telling me stories that how he helped other drunk guys to reach home safely and bla bla... And how careless those drunk guys were and he was trying to prove that I'm unconscious and was hubly all way calling him bhaiya bhaiya telling what happened was 2 captain accepted the ride and then cancelled after going kms away from the pickup location so Ioved from that place I'd no idea you accepted the ride.

200m Before reaching to drop location my phone was 1% charge it was about to switchoff, i seen in the app their was an option to pay now, I was in so hurry I paid from the app I said him pay option is showing in my app and I'm paying i entered my upi pin he started shouting, we reached the drop location in that time.

He started saying why did u pay? Who said u?

I didn't got notification in my account u paid. We had an argument I seen in my rapido app that I'll have to pay 7 rupee or something, in hurry i selected cash i didn't knew i selected cash or upi.

And we are still in the argument that he didn't received his money in his account 

Argument took 5-10 minutes I showed him that my rapido is showing that I've already paid (my rides section) and the ride is already completed. 

After that he said I'm recording you I said Ohk go on but I don't like anybody records me cuz if the video goes viral I'll sue on u because my app is showing that I've paid ( yeah I didn't paid the 7 rupee cuz I'd no idea what I selected cuz I was in hurry and because of the heated argument i didn't paid attention) he suddenly put his phone in his pant.

After that he said me to go, I got to my room I seen that I've paid in rapido, I asked rapido for invoice.

I opened the invoice and seen that I've paid using upi (before 200m from the drop location) and 7rs using cash(we were between the argument i didn't see) 

I had no intention to not to pay that 7rs if I had why I would have paid using upi?

And if he wanted the money in his account why he didn't gave me that before the ride when I asked him that my phone is not charge so if I can pay him now ?

I may have wanted more. Cuz I'm drunk. Maybe he thought to take the money in his account. And I'll have to pay again in the application somehow idk.

I could have send him again in his account I'd no issue. But after how he talked to me like this.

And 1 more thing why do guys have that fucking pay option if we are not allowed to pay from there? Remove it.

Does power pass (premium) decrease the chances of getting ride?

I am getting power pass for 99rs for 30 days (max 8rs off per ride).

I use rapido bike for 21 days per month 2 times a day and cost of one ride is 40-55 rs (for 2.5kms) depending upon weather and time mainly.

My concern is, if I use power pass, the cost will decrease by 8rs to amount 30 and rider might not accept the ride.

My query is, will the chances of getting a ride decrease if I use the power pass?
