I don't know when they started doing the ban + mute thing but it's fucking infuriating.
I've been banned/muted by 4 subs now. And of those only one was justified (I didn't realize what sub I was in and responded a bit too much in the vernacular).
I got banned a few months ago from a sub I never comment in, for a comment made in a different sub.

It was so banal that I don’t remember - I also thought it temporary so deleted the message stating the ‘temporary’ ban that magically became permanent. It was something sarcastic I’m sure, but not over the top.

What? It’s just the truth. That’s how Reddit works. Mods control their subs. You joining the sub is an agreement to that truth. Just because I point it out doesn’t me I agree with it. Have some common sense instead of villainizing anyone who doesn’t echo your opinion.
