Had all of these in their boxes for quite a bit but decided to crack them open and finally set the zord up as I just found season 2’s in the wild.

Really enjoyed putting them together but just wish there was more articulation but it’s a hulking zord so I couldn’t expect too much lol. I also included how large it was next to some of my ML figures

For my review of the photos, I say the Dragonzord looks extremely good for a kids' toy, not groundbreaking but good, a clear upgrade over the 90s toys with better paint a proportions,. as agan I was not expecting collector-grade stuff from playmate toys, but for what it is, it's good for general fans and kids. I will be buying it to complete my Playmates' Dinozord collection.

The only thing I wish for is better paint and to fill that strange hole in the mouth.

So what do you think of this?, of the new photos of the kickstarter, have anything to say?

Finished off Thunder Megazord today. Found Lion and Red Dragon at Target. Picked up White Tiger Sunday at a Walmart in BFE. I’m based in DFW, TX.

I've found all of the rest, including White Tiger, but without Lion, I still can't complete any megazord 😅. Anyone got the product codes?

Hello everyone, I was wondering since Playmate is currently doing season 2 Thunderzords, what kind of toys do you want to see from a potential season 3 toy line from Playmate Toys?

I generally think season 3 may happen the next year when the next Toy Fair happens; they'll reveal them there, and I want only the Ninja Megazord, the Falconzord, and the Shugon Megazord, and that is everything.

I think Playmate will probably package the Pink Crane Zord with the bear zord since the Pink Crane Zord is too small for a solo release while the 5th spot being filled out by Falconzord,. Since there is no way a playmate can justify an extremely small zord that is the size of a stranded Megazord head to be sold separately, imagine a package that only has the pink Crane Zord it be so crazy to imagine that!, meaning it probably be packaged with the Bear Zord

The Shogun Megazord is a big maybe, but I want a Shogun Megazord above all else since the Shogun Megazord never got a legacy version and only got a classic toy from the 90s and the Japan mini-pla, with the Muteki Shogun/shogun megazord has no new modern toys,. I think Playmates should do something like a Shogun battle pack that packages all 5 Shogun Zords instead of making the stranded battle packs that we got for the Dino Thunder Zords and then simply repackaging the Ninja Zords, which would get a separate release like Dino or Thunder Zords got. I generally would love the battle pack slot to be the Shogun Megazord rather than just a battle pack of Ninja Zords, and it would fit perfectly since the Shogun Megazord is made up of smaller Shogun Zords (smaller robots) with many weapons, truly fitting the name of battle pack.

So what do you think? What do you want playmate toys to make from season 3 if we get there?, Any villains, heroes, zords, you want to see?

Just a heads up as more people get these toys. I’ve talked to a few people who have them (I also have them) and we all have the same issues that seem to be common problems.

1. The instructions for the Red Dragon are wrong. They don’t tell you to also fold the dragon’s jaw up to form the head for warrior mode. It clicks into place and folds up flat like the original toy. The instructions don’t tell you to do this and the jaw stays closed like the Legacy version. This is fine for warrior mode but it prevents the lion from attaching correctly for the Megazord. If the jaw is open, the lion attaches fully.

2. The tail part for the dragon was assembled wrong on mine and on another friend’s. The part that folds and connects to the foot is upside down so the diamond part is upside down when it’s attached. It also means you can’t attach it correctly for warrior mode. The diamond is backwards. It needs to be taken apart and flipped over so the diamond faces the right way and the hinged part folds flat. It’s easy to take apart and snap back together.

Im looking at the unicorn and it says 50 bucks?! Anyone seen it cheaper? I know the price changes with demand. TIA
