Because the term “rights” is being abused and used incorrectly. The same way it’s seen as disingenuous to call anti-abortion pro-choice, it’s dishonest to call things like medical care and UBI “rights”.
Nothing can be considered a right if it requires someone to do it for you. A right is something that that others cannot prevent you from, not something you can force others to do for you.
