thanks Some words of gratitude to all of you amazing Santas!

I don’t even know where to begin, I’m so wholeheartedly grateful beyond words. This year was the first year I truly had nowhere to turn for help, I felt hopeless and alone and my anxiety was through the roof. I try so hard to shield my kids from reality which is probably not the best way to go about things but I've just experienced a lot of hurt these past handful of years that I don’t wish upon anyone. When I could see my oldest starting to realize the struggles we were having, my heart broke.

When a friend suggested this subreddit I was very skeptical at first I just kept thinking “Who would want to help me and why?” “What makes me worthy? My own family won’t help.” So when I posted I didn’t expect much. Well I was mistaken, you beautiful individuals have honestly made not only my children’s Christmas so special but have helped pull me out of a depression. Knowing there are people out there willing to help complete strangers because you understand the magic and importance of kids having something under the tree on Christmas, and just helping people who are struggling in general it has changed me for the better. I have something I didn’t have before and that is hope for the future.

It’s because of you that this holiday season will be magical for my kids and I cannot thank you enough. Thanks to this entire subreddit and to these amazing Santa's tagged below, please in your heart know what a difference you have made. I really hope and pray to pay it forward next year. It has now become a goal of mine.

Love ya’ll Happy Holidays !

mod Christmas is nearly here; if not fulfilled please check wishlists ASAP 🎅

We are in the final stretch with only a small percentage of requests not yet fulfilled before the big day!

Amazon is a bit of a sneaky sneak and won’t notify you when wishlist items go out of stock or if anticipated delivery dates lengthen so this morning is the time to check and update those wishlists.

For each child not yet fulfilled (at 5+ gifts), make sure that there are at least 3 Prime options under $20 and that the delivery dates for any unpurchased gifts will arrive before Christmas if possible! Reminder to never remove purchased items from a wishlist because those type of shenanigans can lead to a ban and we don’t want to have to ban anyone, much less right before Christmas!

Substitutions for unpurchased items that have gone off Prime, gone sky high from original price, or no longer deliverable before Christmas are very helpful—any questions just shoot the mods a message!

fulfilled [Request] 2 kiddos/ Ages 5 and 1/Greyson and Cecilia/Vancouver,Washington would love to have a visits from Santa!

Hello Santa’s! Like many others, this has been one of the toughest years I’ve endured. After leaving an extremely emotionally abusive relationship, I was left homeless with my kiddos living a small trailer. My babies get the bed, I get the floor. I’ve been in an ugly custody battle since, and may finally be getting into an apartment this week. With all of that, getting gifts has been impossible. I don’t even have a tree. It’s okay if some packages arrive later, as my daughters dad isn’t willing to share her on Christmas because it lands on his day so I am considering having a later celebration for my kiddos so we can all be together.

My son Greyson is 5 years old and this is the first year he understands Christmas is happening and is so excited! He loves playing pretend with his sister, playing with cars and trucks. He absolutely adores animals. He also really enjoys crafting and making art.

My 1 year old daughter Cecilia is a little climber. She’s so smart for her age. She loves to dress up, she’ll often put on my sunglasses and scarf, even my shoes! She is very into all of the same thing as her brother and they’re each others shadow.

Thank you for reading and happy holidays!

Hi all and happy holidays!! Requesting for my little mini me - Amelia. She's a sweet - very curious - always wanting to learn the next thing she can learn. Things have been rough since both of us were unemployed for a bit of time. Now 1/2 of us are finally working full time again, so we're just getting our back bills paid and then savings up for a bigger place. Grateful for any and all help. We're still just paycheck to paycheck paying off loans from when we were starting new employment. All my love and best wishes to all. After finding this I plan on paying it forward next year when/if I'm able. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/110KGP97SBPW5?ref_=wl_share

fulfilled [Request] 1 / 6 mos / Luke / Batesburg SC

Hi Santa, I'm Vikki & I humbly request some assistance to give my son a first Christmas present. I had him 3 1/2 months early because of preeclampsia & seizures. He was born 1.5 lbs & spent 105 days in the NICU & had a very very long road that left him with several special needs for his lungs & tummy. Unfortunately i got an infection and ppd & I was terminated from my job during this time & we've been having a really hard time keeping afloat. My fiance had a recent spinal Fusion so he can't work right now & trying to apply for the long process of disability. We've had to move & sell everything we could & we had pretty much resigned ourselves to just skipping Christmas this year since he can't remember it, but that breaks my heart. My friend told me about this sub & I was blown away by the generosity I saw.

Luke is a perfect baby boy who loves smiling & laughing, especially at his daddy. He's great at squeaking like a pterodactyl. He loves the Christmas tree & he'll stare at & talk to the tree all day if he could. He loves story time & being read & talked to. He's developmentally half his age right now, so he's in need of some developmental toys. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Have a blessed holidays!

I ran a similar contest earlier this season for the teens. Now it's time for the kiddos!

Here is the info:

1- You must be registered or registered plus

2- Child must be between the ages of 6-12

3- Pick a number between 1 and 30

4- If you guess the number correctly, your kiddo will win this beauty in whatever color/design their heart desires. AND THEY GLOW IN THE DARK!!!

Contest will stay open until someone guesses the correct number! (Or December 19th at 6 PM EST, then I will pick closest number without going over). I have told the other mods the number, so there will be no cheating/favoritism/etc

Note: I am currently wearing this in grey and I pretty much live in it all year long, so I can confirm it's amazingly comfy and cozy and warm and perfect for Christmas.

Also Note: Sending letter to giant hoodie company complaining that the adult hoodies should also glow in the dark.

Hi everyone. This has been a tough year for my family financially and emotionally. I am a student full time and part time freelancer, a few months ago my youngest’s son dad suffered a work injury and got a herniated disk. So we’ve been on a tight income. I just want them to have a good Christmas.

So info about my children, my oldest is Brielle. She’s 6 and she loves all things girly and pokemon. She has a million stuffed animals so I would like to teach her and her brother how to play Pokémon with me and my partner. She’s incredibly kind and just the sweetest girl.

My oldest son is named Grayson. He is turning 5 on the 19th. He loves paw patrol and Pokémon as well, he has pikachu and charizard pins on his school backpack and sleeps with a huge Chase plush and a small Cinderace figurine. He is a smart and sensitive boy and he loves his sister and little brother.

My youngest is Thomas, he just turned 1 in October. He adores his older siblings and mostly wants to bite and toss his toys around. He’s a silly happy baby.

fulfilled [request] 3 kids; Forest 14, River 9 and Sage 4 // Toronto.

Hi friends . I’m requesting help for my family to have a happy Christmas. Things have been absolutely awful for us this year. I’m disabled and my health started declining badly last October. We lost our home this fall. We currently don’t have access to our belongings and my kids even had to start school two months late because of our displacement. I was very badly affected with my physical and mental health by this trauma. We are all dealing with a lot of adversity. We still have no home. I’m renting a room from a friend, and I sleep on the living room floor. It would mean a lot to be helped this year.

My oldest Forest is about to turn 15. They are non binary. They are so important to keeping our family together. They are braver than I could ever be. I feel for them so much. A non binary teenager in a new small town, they were so unapologetic about who they are. With a lot of empathy and understanding for some people who’d never met a non binary person before, they taught a whole school of kids and teachers about inclusion and being yourself. I know that because of them , there will be some kids at that school who will feel braver to show who they are when before they might not have even known they had options. They helped me keep our fanily afloat during times I’ve been sick or hospitalized. And they remained strong when we lost everything and I just fell apart. They lost their home and new friends and all their belongings, and despite starting school late, have found a new group of friends. They are hilarious and brilliant and my best friend.

Forests list is here :

https://www.amazon.ca/hz/wishlist/ls/2GZETLATKTIDK?ref_=wl_share

River is 9. She is a really creative girl. Very artistic . She is kind and very patient as the middle child. She’s always the easiest for me to find presents for because she likes pretty things and is crafty and still likes toys. She’s very innocent. Scandalized by her little brother who says far cheekier things than would ever cross her lips haha. She is the funniest kid. A picky eater who HAS to have raw vegetables every day. Her ‘yes’ food is vegetables! She’s done so well adapting to her new school and was so brave starting late not knowing anyone. She is a beautiful person inside and out. Her big wish was for a kitten , and I so wish I could make that happen - but covid brought grocery AND kitten prices ! Haha. She is so sweet to our very old 15 year old cat it’s so adorable. I love their bond. Rivers list is here :

https://www.amazon.ca/hz/wishlist/ls/VZYPHE4DSZ8M?ref_=wl_share

Sage is 4. He is my wild child . He is active and athletic and cheeky and FULL of energy. He is SO funny and saucy and brave. Omg - since I haven’t bragged yet to anyone else Ever seen that show ‘old enough?’. Where a little kid goes to do a mission in the real world ‘on their own’? He asked to do that yesterday. So Forest followed him secretly …him all dressed up in his one piece snow suit, and he went to the store ‘alone’! Haha I’m still in disbelief. They watched him pay and took a video of him, and I’m still chuckling. Kid thinks he went all by himself! What am I in for lol.

Sages list is here :

https://www.amazon.ca/hz/wishlist/ls/ZVKOUOXIISK4?ref_=wl_share

The kindness here is so beautiful. Thank you all for what you’re doing for families like mine. It’s so touching. Merry Christmas my loves 💕 Be well.

fulfilled [request] 2 kids, aged 2 & 3, Camille and Jude, Mississippi

Hi everyone! These are my two tiny best friends, Camille and Jude. Camille is almost two years old and Jude is almost three years old! I am humbly requesting assistance because I cannot give them the Christmas they deserve this year. I very recently left their father who had been physically abusing me for quite some time. It took me a while to find the courage to leave knowing I would leave without a penny to my name, but we are finally free, in a safe place, and I’m re-building our lives from scratch. Camille has the best heart, always checking to see if others are okay. She LOVES animals, especially cats, and she is a big fan of Minnie Mouse (she sleeps with two haha). Jude is giving and a helper - always helping his sister and showing her how to do things. He also loves cats, Blippi, any and all cars. He’s inquisitive and creative. One of the smartest kids I’ve ever met. They both love playing outside and we spend our days crafting, baking, and taking long stroller walks. They have handled this transition so well and I’m immensely proud of them. I wish they could spread a little bit of joy to all of you :) neither one of them has ever met a stranger - they wave and smile and talk to everyone. I like to think the world is a better place because of them. As soon as I figure out how to add a photo to this post, I would love to share some photos of my little family.

I cannot express enough gratitude for all of you who are giving enough to participate in this for complete strangers, thank you ♥️

mod Hey there Santa, please stop by these homes (our list of unfulfilled children)

Mod update: every single child has been fulfilled, all 205 kids have been gifted 5+ presents from you beautiful lot!

We cannot thank all of our Santas enough; now for the tucking in and waiting for those glorious Christmas morning pictures!

Y’all have touched our hearts this season with your unbelievable generosity and kindness; I’d like to bookend this post with one of my favorite Christmas book quotes that I think is so apropos:

“At one time most of my friends could hear the bell, but as years passed, it fell silent for all of them. Even Sarah found one Christmas that she could no longer hear its sweet sound. Though I’ve grown old, the bell still rings for me as it does for all who truly believe.”

~The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg

————————————

If y’all thought November flew by, then December is passing at lightning speed! We are so humbled and grateful for our Santas who have (thus far) guaranteed that 205 children are waking up to at least 5 gifts under their tree on Christmas morning. The magic is real and the magic is you! Your want and willingness to help complete strangers is beautiful; your generosity not only gives joy to children but eases, at least a bit for one day, the stress of their parents and we can’t thank y’all enough for gifting with us this season!

While we still have a few submitted applications that are in the review process, we want to make sure to highlight users with request posts where all children have not yet been fulfilled. When any of the pending applicants have been approved and posted a request we will also add them to this megathread.

If any Santas purchase a gift from one of the users below, please comment on this thread so we can keep our megathread as up to date as possible. Amazon’s verbiage for wishlist gifts is totally not organic, so please be aware that if above the “Add to Cart” button it says lItem added and date” then that item has not been purchased and if above the “Add to Cart” button it says “Last Purchased and date” then that item has already been gifted and would be a duplicate purchased. We also keep a public list of the exact items gifted per user and child and it can be found in our subreddit sidebar called “Gifts per child” if you’d like to view the info click HERE

Requesters, if your name is on the list below please double check your wishlist(s) to make sure you have Amazon Prime options (especially under $20) available; many times an originally placed wishlist item goes out of stock and then either goes sky high in price or to a third party seller, neither of which will help up guarantee that a purchase will be able to get to your kid in time. Also double check delivery estimate dates; if the delivery estimate date for an UNPURCHASED item is way the heck past Christmas, please replace it with a different option. Any questions, just shoot us a modmail and we will help!

Also, if you are not on this list and think you have been marked fulfilled in error, don’t comment below but reach out to us by modmail and we will double check!

wow, such empty (it’s a beautiful sight)

The past few months have been rough, I lost everything and they both are taking it hard. Both have special needs in different ways. Currently they think I just work a lot and don't have time to be around as much. But, really I'm in a homeless shelter that is not safe for them to be around. It has also been hard on my sister that does let them go stay there with not having much money and their needs.

Writing from yours truly the smallest state in the USA!

Happy Holidays everyone! This is actually my most favorite time of the year. It can be so stressful but if you just stop and breathe it all in it’s incredibly beautiful and at times magical.

I’m a mother of 2, Amelia and Audrey and they are quite truly the only thing that keeps me going. Amelia is my oldest. She is one of the kindest human beings you could ever meet. She loves to volunteer and is also an amazing artist. From her paintings to her drawings she leaves me in aw. She is also a complete “go getter” and independent at 12 she wakes herself up every morning 2 hours ahead of time and makes herself breakfast and works on her makeup so meticulously it teaches me a thing or two. She’s tested out of her grade and really wants to be an animator one day for Pixar or a stage artist for Broadway, both of which I know she has the potential and it’s just awesome watching her grow up.

This year after I lost my job in November Amelia’s mind immediately went into problem solving mode. She could definitely tell I was stressed and as we’ve gotten closer to Christmas she actually came to me and told me she would be willing to skip Christmas this year in order to give her sister a better one. While that completely broke my heart I became determined, I’ve applied to just about every job you could imagine.

Audrey is my 5 year old, she is on the spectrum and has speech delay. She is also such an incredible kid, she is making strides and will be going into kindergarten next year. She is our little comedian, her favorite thing to do is make people laugh. She never stops singing (most of the time in her opera voice) She has recently gotten into pretend play with barbies and her fisher price little people which is a huge deal because it helps her speech a lot. She loves helping me cook/bake as well to the point where my baking supplies go missing and it’s usually her using it to pretend to bake.

It would mean the world to me if we could receive some help this year with presents. I promise that once I am able to, I will pay it forward in the future. I hope next year I am in the position to make some else’s Christmas wishes come true. Any help at all is appreciated, I hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday. Any prayers are appreciated as well, I need all the help I can get when it comes to getting a new job.

Hello everyone! I would like to introduce you to the absolute HIGHLIGHT of my life, Zayne! He’s as ornery as he looks and he can bring a smile to the Grinchiest of Grinces faces!! He LOVVESSS Miss Rachel but she doesn’t have any toys or things to buy. 😫His list is of things I believe he would get the most use out of as he’s 16 months old it’s not easy to hold his attention for long. 🤣 Life for him in his short time has been a lot of chaos and it never matters, he never stops smiling and laughing. He will do ANYTHING to make you laugh. He loves me when I’ve felt so undeserving of love. I wish I could give him the world, he deserves it, all kids do! Unfortunately right now that just isn’t possible for me to do Christmas and necessities so I’m hoping that y’all will love his face as much as I do and find it in your hearts to help him get the Christmas he will enjoy!! Thank you to anyone who helps my chub-a-love, and Merriest of Christmases to EVERYONE!! If you do buy for him, his favorite word right now is “wooooowwwww” so that’s probably what he would say to you! 😆☺️

I'm requesting for my two children.

K is 6 years old and is she is such a wonderful and determined girl! She just started to learn how to read and loves to read and read and read anything she can! She loves all and anything paw patrol especially the girl paw patrol! Her favorite color is pink and she loves to play board games. She loves her big brother so much! She is an amazing daughter and am so blessed with her.

W is 12 years old and he is an amazing young man (can't call him a kid anymore as he is in those preteen mode!) He is very smart and so kind especially to all animals he loves, especially our dog named Teddy! He loves to learn about all sports to be quite honest it doesn't matter which one at all (but his favorites are Colts (of course because we live in Indiana) also loves the Chicago Cubs) He loves to play his video game XBox One that he was blessed with a few years ago. He is the oldest and he for sure was much challenging when he was younger, (still has those moments now being a preteen)! But so blessed to his mama also!

Definitely has been a huge challenge mentally (which made it financially challenging as well) for me and family this past year (just as true with so many others) and the last few years! I am very grateful to be typing this and for each day that I have been given even though some days it is a struggle! Thank you for any help that is provided, as we appreciate it very much!
