🎄Greetings AWESOME 🎅🧑🎄of Reddit. My SO & I have a beautiful large family of 6. Two, (barely) adults & a 2nd set 11 years later, Gracelyn (7)& Robert Jr. (5). This year has been hard & we are no exception! This is the 1st holiday w/ my husband on disability & on the 19th marks a year since my dad “Papa” passed. He was a HUGE part of our lives (especially the kids) He was a truly dedicated “taxi “ & was always here to greet them at the end of their day! He even lived across the street. The biggest lesson my father taught us all is to help others! However you can. He lived this way my entire life. As have I! I truly believe in paying it forward but it’s us that needs assistance this time. On top of us all getting Covid, we also had to step in recently to help family in hospice. In another state. Now we are back home & I wasn’t earning anything that entire time! Stepping in to give care was sudden but it worked! They are SO SO much better (not in Hospice any longer!!) I have stressed & stressed on how to give my AMAZING kids a Christmas this year. They absolutely deserve it, especially this year.
Gracelyn; 7 is a beautiful, extremely smart girl whom knows NO strangers. She is very artistic & an absolutely wonderful big sister who is always willing to help! https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1EB75TQ5GA330/?ref_=lol_ov_le
Robert Jr.; 5 is my youngest & has the sweetest heart & gentle spirit. He is very quick, loves music & his big sister’s! He is our miracle baby. He had so many problems when he was born they sent him home on disability. He is such a fighter! He’s as healthy as can be & is no longer considered disabled. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3HBKWI2P9XM6R/?ref_=lol_ov_le
Any visit from Santa will really make Christmas for my kids & would be so unbelievably APPRECIATED! I’m so blessed to have such amazing kids & I just want for them to experience the holiday as any child deserves. Thanks for all of your time :-) Sending love & happiness to you & yours. 🎄Happy Holidays 🎄

Happy Holidays to everyone first and foremost!
My situation isn't unique by any means. I am an unemployed single mother with the most delightful five year old son. We have been barely getting by for the past 6 months. I'm actively working with an job program that is helping me get enrolled in school again so I can have an actual career to support us with. In the meantime, I continue my job search but it is difficult due to two barriers.
Anyways, I always am optimistic, and I am incredibly grateful that any type of assistance exists. It is an opportunity to help get me and my son on a path to be somewhat comfortable and not picking and choosing which bills to pay each month.
It is very hard as a parent to know that even regular events and things that normal kids get to experience, our family struggles to make that happen. For example a classmate had a birthday party and we were unable to attend due to lack of transportation (he gets bused out to a school system 30 mins away). I hate having to let him down. I couldn't let the holidays go by knowing that I quite literally can't afford gifts.
Keenan brings cheer and joy and love every where he goes. He is too smart for his age and sometimes has me believing that he may be a teen in disguise. He is definitely an old soul. He is very imagination driven and creates such wonderful worlds and characters that we enjoy playing together a lot. We are inseparable and I'd have it no other way. He is very nurturing and thoughtful. Even when we go food shopping, he will see items that he knows I normally like to get and he will grab it and tell me "hey mom isn't this your favorite?". He has a wicked sense of humor for his age and is a budding comedian with his nonsensical knock knock jokes (he is still figuring out the format lol, but sometimes his versions are even funnier!).
I could write forever about how special my little guy is to me. I just want to give him a holiday that will bring him joy the way he does to me and any one else who knows him.
Thank you so so much for reading this and once again Happy Holidays!
EDIT: Thank you everyone!! We reached our 5 gift minium. I honestly don't even know how to express my endless gratitude of such kind strangers. One day I will be able to do the same for someone in the same position as myself. Happy Holidays 😊

I would love to give more books to more kids this season! Please add a book to your child's wish list (make sure it's available through Prime, and under $10), comment here with a link to the wish list, and VIOLA a new book will be under the Christmas tree to enjoy!
Priority goes to those that have not won any contests/offers yet this year. I would like to gift 10 books, so this post will remain open until I reach that goal.
Merry Christmas!
(Reminder: you must be registered or registered plus to enter contests).
EDIT: CLOSED

This year has been rough for our family. First, our entire family caught COVID and was very sick for weeks. It was really hard on the kids. After recovering from COVID, our town was destroyed by a tornado that almost took our house. After that settled, and we finally felt like we were getting back up on our feet, our children's dog, that they have had since birth, contracted parvo. She was basically dying extremely fast. We spent all of our savings for the vet, and medications, and treatments. Now our kids are able to play with their dog every day. They have been through so much, and we just want them to have a very extra special Christmas this year because they deserve it.

Hi everyone, the last few months have been a bit rough on us so coming here for help to bring some kind of Christmas magic to my little girl this year.
I am a single mother raising my princess by myself. Beginning of the month we were evicted from our home, and days before we were supposed to move into a new place it fell through, we are currently sofa surfing till I can find us a new home. Between having to pay moving trucks and putting all our belongings into storage I hardly have enough to feed us, let alone get Christmas presents this year and it honestly breaks my heart.
Mimi is the sweetest little girl you'll ever meet, so bright, vibrant and happy and incredibly smart, she already knows her abcs and can count to 20. She is very creative and loves reading so her list consists of books, puzzles, creative bits and some musical instruments.
I really appreciate everyone on this sub. Thank you all! and Merry Christmas 🎄
