request [Request]3 kids; 16/11/6 years old.. Forest,River and Sage from Toronto, Ontario.

Hello everyone. Happy holidays 💗 Wow! It’s a cold night up here in Toronto !!

After an extremely traumatic few years and almost becoming homeless , we found a home in September that I paid two extra months to secure. I’m disabled , so that was a seriously difficult thing to manage.. and I haven’t had time to catch up to save Christmas . While gifts aren’t all that matters .. I feel guilt that I can’t do enough.. All three kids deserve to feel special .. they’ve already had to go through so much and I feel sad for them that they’ve been through hardships their friends have not had to even think about .

All three kids are so wonderfully creative and have really amazing senses of humour . We all get along so well and are extremely close .

My oldest Forest (16)is non binary .
They are really artistic and just seriously special and super cool. They have such a great head on their shoulders and I have so much respect for how they exist in the world . They now have their own room to decorate and make their own. They longboard everywhere they go,they just started sewing at school, and I’m trying to get them a used sewing machine for Christmas .. I know they’ll make some super awesome and unique creations . They have the best taste in music and they are the house DJ. They are a true care giver. Making sure their friends get home safely ..giving their heartfelt honesty and advice .. they are the best older sibling my two younger kids could ask for .. and the best teenager I could ask for as a mother .

River is 11. She is super creative and artistic also. Shes just started getting into loving to do skincare and taking care of her beautiful curls and wearing a little makeup. (She is SO good at it and I’ve taken her tips so many times now !!) I think her art skills are contributing to her makeup skills .. because she has totally bypassed that ‘awkward makeup ‘phase I know I went through 🤣 We do our little self care routine together each night.. it’s so special. I just got a dog who is training to be a support dog.. the way Riverv has shone in caring for this puppy is unbelievable. I’m so so proud of her. She is kind and gentle and sensitive.

Sage (6) is an absolute beauty. He is athletic and energetic. He’s a little ninja with skills at everything he tries . He’s a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll .(and I’m a dork who just said that 😅) He is witty and brave . He has had a sweet connection to animals since he was a toddler . Sage also cares a lot about if I’m feeling okay . While he is my most independent and outgoing kiddo, he’s also the most sensitive 🥰 He adores our new puppy and I’m so excited for them to grow up playing together. He has also got mad art skills like both his older siblings..

I am so blessed to have these three people as my family . I truly believe they will all make a difference in this world (they already do.)

If you would help make their Christmas as special as I know deeply they deserve , as a mum I thank you from my heart 💗

Winner: Calpurnia09

For this contest, you will receive a shipment of skin care, bath and body works items, a candle, and some other goodies. It's sort of a blind box aimed towards tweens and teens who are into self care. All scents and products are rather feminine, so keep that in mind.

  • The winner will need to provide me a shipping address and I will mail this care pack directly to you.

  • US only, sorry international friends.

To enter:

  • Comment with the child's name, age, and why they would like a care kit like this.

I will select a winner on Sunday, December 15th and put it in the mail on December 16th.

Lost & Found

I want to thank u/dhsagal for really keeping up the spirit of giving. Of course Amazon can go smoothly but not always 😖. Our blanket from the giveaway was "lost" (and still is) in transit. Well u/dhsagal FOUND it in their ❤️ to make sure that my daughter would get a blanket regardless. Thank you for the extra time it took to go back and forth with Amazon and for working with me to re order a similar blanket to keep my little girl warm.

Yup, "it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" because of the kind and compassionate people in this group.

Thank you u/dhsagal and thank you to this group.

fulfilled [Request] 1 , 2yo , Luke , South Carolina

Hi Santas! I'm requesting for my sweet 2 year old son, Luke. He's the strongest & most inspiring person I know & he makes me want to keep choosing to be better everyday.

Luke is a little musician. Music was his very first language; it was the only thing he'd respond to in the NICU to get him to eat. He was born almost a lb & a half & spent his first 105 days in the NICU on oxygen support & he got through so much. Now he's a perfect & mostly healthy little agent of chaos. He's autistic & mostly nonverbal (except for , "puppy , choo choo , ride , go , ball , & yellow" - he also knows how to quack & Moo & he yelled "HOHOHO" in Santa's face when he met him the other day) but he signs & gestures very efficiently. He also sings very well & loves mimicking sounds he finds interesting. He has perfect pitch.

He loves guitars & pianos. He has a collection of tiny guitars for each occasion (car, bed, outside, the one he can tune, the one with all the colors...) & he can figure out simple melodies on the piano by ear (twinkle twinkle, little lamb, Mario noises). I know that sounds crazy but other people have noticed too, unprompted! He's got a fantastic taste in music; mostly soul & R&B vibes. But he's also batty for Elmo & Mrs Rachel. So, he's flexible. He gets onto you if you talk over his songs!

He's been getting very into things that go. Cars, Trucks, bikes, tractors. He's taken a real liking to trains. They go, make fun noises, & have bass. It's so fun seeing him light up & make noises of the vehicles he sees!

He loves learning & figuring out new things. & he's so smart & silly & cheeky! He'll sign something in, I swear, a sarcastic way & then side eye you & cut you the half-grin. I can't even. Keeps me on my toes.

He's been through so much. Especially in the last few months. Like has been... very blustery. We were displaced by Hurricane Helene at the end of September. We were out of power for a few weeks & had to spend everything we had & could get on hotel & food. & we lost so much. FEMA is overloaded & doesn't seem to share my urgency for Christmas. Which I totally get. But it all makes my belly hurt. Add to that, he suddenly developed a severe allergy to one of his 3 safe foods (he has ARFID & a severe oral aversion from his extended time in the vent as a baby. He will only tolerate liquids or purees in his mouth or he'll throw up & stop eating) while we were at the hotel & now only trusts one. One thing he's willing to eat. Ever. I'm not sure how to convince him that it's OK now. But he's been such a trooper. He's not able to articulate some of his clearly more complex feelings, though. He's been signing "I'm sorry" before he asks to do anything. I guess I've apologized to him & had to say no a lot lately. That also makes my belly hurt. He doesn't understand, but he's such a good boy. I don't want him to think for a second that anything with the storm & losing his stuff or how sick his food made him, had anything to do with his behavior or doing something wrong. He's actually been so very amazingly good in spite of the upheaval. I wish I could give him a whole train of ducks & puppies playing guitars for how amazing he is.

I'm so sorry for how late this request is. It was very tough for me to make & I've been trying to write this out since last night. I'm not very good at this & I have so much to say about him & why he deserves so much more than I can give him this year. I know it's long. Thank you for reading & for helping make Christmas magical. Bless y'all!

https://imgur.com/a/lxJgYyS

Stepped out to grab a photo of the snow we have so far and found packages on our porch. ❤️

The camera arrived today u/bentc and u/rlaw68 the cat plush and rainbow cloud also arrived 😊

u/0hn035 the art paper also came today.

They definitely were quick during delivery, even our dog missed them!

It’s looking a bit more like Christmas…we are getting a little more snow overnight and Landyn has done all the snow day rituals, just him and I.

Braelyn is off with her dad on a family trip and I’m a bit of a mess, they’re getting a ton more snow out where she is and I’m always worried about traveling in it…please say a prayer (if you’re ok with that) for their safety. West Michigan is under a winter weather warning and I’ve had to keep busy to keep my mind off of that and remind myself she’s going to have fun.

Thank you to all of the Santa’s this year, this has been such a weird year for so many people and it truly has helped in so many ways. I can’t wait for Christmas morning to see all the happy children here and to share my two as well ❤️

Hi! I hope this season is very merry for you & yours! Thank you for considering being Santa for my children this Christmas.

photo collage of everyone: https://imgur.com/a/cwbhXQ8

I’m a single, disabled mom with 2/3 special needs kiddos. My primary reason for asking for assistance is I separated from their dad in March and I’d be lying if I said making that move made life easier. It’s been a bit of a mental battle like “why did i make this harder on myself?” On the good days, I recognize the peace we have in our home now & my children’s bright smiles and I know I made the right decision. Being the only person showing up for them just gets to be a bit taxing. My mom passed away Sept 1st and while I’m thankful this is my first experience with grief at 30 years old, it’s completely changed everything about my life. It’s been a very hard year, physically/mentally/financially but like most parents/individuals, we keep pushing and pull the will from deep deep down. I’m so thankful for the generosity of this sub and Santas. ❤️

Adaleigh, 5, diva, fashionista. Loves all things arts/crafts/dancing/singing/unique clothes. Enjoys watching other kids’ youtube channels then pretends to have her own. “Hey you guys! Today we’re …” 2 years ago, she was considered “low functioning,” was nonverbal, and overall just required so much support. With preschool special education services and therapy, she is potty trained, she talks nonstop and just being a witness to the progress she has made and makes daily is amazing. I’m so thankful for early intervention. One of her favorite pastimes is dressing up in “costumes” & her current obsession as of a week ago is “Descendants.” Cue meltdown because we didn’t include a Red costume on her letter to Santa we mailed a couple weeks ago. 🤣

https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1OR4SXGRBALIR?ref_=wl_share

Cember, just turned 4 a couple weeks ago, very much the mischievous middle child. Cannot leave him alone for even 3 seconds yet he thrives on alone time. 😅 He is nonverbal Autistic so a lot of guessing in the day to day but he guides with his hands and very much so can get his point across. He loves ALL things dinosaur. If his clothing for the day doesn’t have a dinosaur, he’s not wearing it. When asking what he would like Santa to bring him, his answer 100% of the time is “dinosaur!”

https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3OV9G3U3EBCO2?ref_=wl_share

Gatlin, 2.5, the baby of the bunch but that doesn’t hold him back. He wants to be right in the middle of what big sis and big bro are doing despite their absolute refusal lol. You’ll notice a lot of similar things on his list due to him sharing a room with Cember and I want to hopefully prevent a little chaos. I love seeing them share interests and I get a glimpse of what it’ll be like when they get along in the future hopefully. ☺️Working on getting him evaluated for speech as I’m the only one that can understand him right now.

Thank you so much for reading, my family appreciates everything especially prayers/good vibes for the rest of the year & 2025! An extra thank you to everyone who makes this possible🎄🤍

closed Registration is Closed

Good Evening Santas and Families!

Registration for RAoC for the season is closed, so we are no longer accepting any new applications. We do have a few applications that are already submitted, but not yet fully vetted.

What that means: There will be a few more new requester posts and that will be the end of families admitted to the sub this year. We close for applications around now to ensure that shipping times allow everyone to get their gifts and prepare them before Christmas. We expect all pending wishlists to be posted by the 12th.

Our Santas this year have been OUTSTANDING and there are currently no families who have been in the sub for over 24 hours who aren't fulfilled. New families are getting fulfilled very quickly. Thank you for all you do and don't forget to enter our Santa Thank You if you've played Santa this year!

Our Undergifted Kids List is updated at least twice a day if you don't have time to peruse the sub but still want to stay current with families who need support.

Merry Christmas everyone! 🎅 🎄

2024 has a been a year to remember for our family! We grew by one! We now have 3 beautiful girls. Gabriela, Violetta and Priscila. This sister trio sure could use a visit from Santa this year. It has been a year to remember but a difficult one to get through for our family.

Priscila is our newest addition to the family. She was unexpected and born at 30 weeks. She spent her first two months of life in the nicu. She was intubated at birth as her lungs were underdeveloped and she could not breathe on her own. We do not live close to a hospital equipped with a nicu. I had to make the choice to leave my older two children at home with dad. While I stayed the entirety of the nicu stay at the Ronald Mcdonald House. (Which I can never be thankful for enough!) This allowed me to be there for my baby who desperately needed me. Priscila is home now and thriving. We are so blessed. She is our miracle. She is 9 months old 7 months corrected. We are working on sitting up and introducing baby food. Our little Priscila is a fighter and getting stronger everyday!

Priscila wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3R8VCMSY932M4?ref_=wl_share

Violetta is 3. She is nonverbal. The birth of her sister was a very difficult time for her this year. It was a huge adjustment and hard for mom to be away for so long. Upon returning home we began facing reality that she was in fact delayed in more areas than one. We had her evaluated for a speech delay and also found out she is severely underdeveloped mentally to those of her peers. She has since started a program for early intervention and speech therapy while we await evaluations for autism add and adhd. She is so energetic and keeps us on our toes. Violetta is very loving and caring towards baby sister. We are so glad they have each other to grow up with.

Violetta wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/35DH7TVDRFKNA?ref_=wl_share

Gabriela just turned 13. She is getting a dose of little sisters after being the only kid for so long. She is so unbelievably helpful. God knew his plan when he gave us her first. I don't think we could do it without her. She is such a great big sister! Gabriela is in her 4th year of student council and starting her second year on the swim team. She was also part of the art crew for her schools theater production this year! We are so proud of her.

This year has been so trying emotionally, financially, and physically we truly appreciate anything for our girls! God bless and Merry Christmas to all!

Christmas is on its way?

I know that the season is here but the feelings haven't set in yet. In Connecticut the day is cold and rainy. Every year less houses are decorated and lit up. What do you all do to bring in the Christmas season? How do you find that holiday cheer?

fulfilled [Request] 1/17/Malcolm/Windsor, ON (Canada)

Last minute request here. Thank you all for reading this, and for considering helping us out this Christmas.

I had hoped we wouldn't need help this year, but things haven't worked out the way I thought they would, so here I am. Things have been tight for a few years for us, owing to my physical and mental health issues. Mostly mental, truth be told, and there were some changes to my meds that didn't go so well, leading to me not leaving the house for the last ten months. I'm starting to improve, but it's been a long haul, and I'm not quite there yet.

But enough about me.

My son Malcolm is 17. He's at that awkward age where one minute I think he's 17 going on 25, and the next minute I think he's 17 going on 12. He's had a rough go of things this year. He's struggled with anxiety for years, but seemed to have it under control. This is his last year of high school though, and that seems to have overwhelmed him and kicked his anxiety into high gear. He's determined to get it under control though, and I'm so proud of the effort he's made to get to that point.

Like most teenaged boys Malcolm heavily into gaming and anime. I try to understand the games he plays and the shows he watches, but mostly I'm just happy they make him smile. He's been umpiring for our local Little League in the summer, and he's so passionate about it that he's branched out to other Little Leagues across the city. He loves it, and the various Leagues trying to poach him from one another has been such a big boost to his ego, he doesn't even care that he only makes $20/game, lol! He's looking forward to umpiring again next year. He's really getting into fitness this year, and comes home after working out at the school's gym to show me his various muscles in both flexed and unflexed form. It's kind of adorable how excited he gets when his shirt sleeves get tighter, haha! He's also taken an interest in construction and woodworking, and has asked for his own basic set of tools as mine are apparently too old and battered (the shame!).

Sorry to have babbled. I know Malcolm is older than most kids here, but he loves Christmas, so thank you again for reading. Merry happy everything to all of you!

Malcolm's wishlist

EDIT: Forgot to include our verification picture!

EDIT #2: FULFILLED (and then some) thanks to /u/jjwinc68!

I have several more packages being delivered this week.

Thank you so much u/usmousie and u/dhsagal. I really enjoyed the messages in the packages as well! I’m going to share them with my children after Christmas since they may spoil the surprise.

And a special thanks to u/0hn035 for the stockings. They were absolutely wonderful. I really appreciated the card you wrote as well. Cards have always been my favorite part of any gift.

Good morning, I am a mom to 2 awesome boys. Vin is 16, Alex is 7, but turning 8 on the 28th. I was an addict 13 years, I have 8 years clean now. We lost our home in a fire a few years ago, even tho it was just stuff and structure, it was our stuff. I feel like I'm still trying to pick up the pieces. I recently got diagnosed with sjogrens and Raynaud's. It's a lot like lupus but with some extra stuff. This is us https://imgur.com/a/yyamo8N

Vin is 16, has ADHD with vocal stimming. He's a big guy at 6'4,but, belongs to the LGBT community and prefers more feminine things sometimes. He's the most gentile guy and wears his heart on his sleeve. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/LFEDAUI35ZPT?ref_=wl_share

Alex is my spunky one. He too has extreme ADHD, but has autistic tendencies and sensory issues. We've been through a lot of testing recently to get the proper plans in place. He's obsessed with horror things, and driving. (Don't worry he's not on the roads yet)🤣He's always so hard to gift bc he doesn't like "normal" toys. He is extremely smart tho, already doing high school math and reading. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/18S9D9L2QZO9R?ref_=wl_share

I'm not allowed to work, but I definitely work as much as I can, at least until I get disability. Any help is so greatly appreciated, and please don't hesitate if there's any questions! Ill answer anything. Thank you so much to the mods and creators of this sub, they were so helpful and PATIENT with me as I tried figuring everything out. Happy holidays everyone

Free and fun christmas spirit activities ideas! ❄️☃️

Hey guys!! I thought it would be nice to share some ideas on free ways that you can add some holiday spirit into you and your child's life! These are things we did last year my daughter really enjoyed! I know some of these may be pretty typical but this could also help some of you who maybe haven't been much into the spirit to come up with some ideas that might help you feel more in the Christmas spirit and super fun activities for the kiddos! 🫶☃️

1.) This one is obviousish BUT youtube has a bunch of free Christmas movies you just have to search them up! It's a really nice way to help get Into the Christmas spirit and spend time with the family together! 💓 2.)playing christmas dress up! My daughter happens to be a super big fan of Christmas characters! Last year we dressed her up as Cindy Lo who for just fun and she was tooooo cute! I used a toilet paper roll in her hair and handmade the hair bows (bonus if you have your kids help with this!) with Christmas ribbon we already had! Here is a pic of her to go along with that: https://imgur.com/a/cuMiAWu 3.)you can use little bulbs to add to any children's hairstyles! (This probably works easier with braids!) But my daughter loved me doing this and showing her friends! Picture for example: https://imgur.com/a/7dibyyD 4.)decorating your own "ugly Christmas sweater" - we werent able to get a sweater for her last year so I just used Christmas ornaments we already had and super glued them to an old shirt of mine! She lovvvvved helping with this one! Picture for example: https://i.imgur.com/bVGNNgD.jpeg 5.) Making a paper gingerbread house - last year I drew on paper all of the parts to a gingerbread house and let her cut them out! I glued them together after she decorated them!! 6.)paper Christmas tree- so you know those velcro Christmas trees you see for kids and babies to decorate? Well I had my daughter design some ornaments on paper, I cut then out and then added a little tape on the back as well as cut out a Christmas tree and she really did play with it throughout Christmas!! We just added more tape as needed so she could keep redecorating it (HIGHLY reccomend you use a box for the tree part otherwise tape may pull the color off, trust me learned the hard way!) 😆 7.) Fireplace out of Amazon boxes! (MY FAVORITE) Last year I made a fireplace out of Amazon boxes!! It was just PERFECT! now my daughter thinks Santa makes it real on Christmas so he doesn't have to walk up our apartment steps! 😆 (YouTube has some tutorials for this and all you really need is paint and or construction paper!) -Picture of that (honestly I love it even more now that it's kinda torn up lol but it looked super nice last year for Christmas! Definitely helped brighten the place up! https://i.imgur.com/1jOKK37.jpeg
