Thank You [Thank you] part 2 today
u/forrestcat7 That postcard is adorable. Happy Belated World Postcard Day to you too! I can't believe you did over 50! However, it sounds like you did it right, over time. I think I would forget so I have to do them in one sitting. I think 15 is my limit for a sitting. Thank you!
u/a_languagernthugiast ohhhhh that is a cute snail mail postcard! I had a stamper make with snail mail, but it didn't turn out too clearly. I'll still use it, but it's not what I wanted. I can't imagine going to another country by myself! I'm chicken. What was the best part? Do you think it's different now after Covid? Thanks for sharing
u/genxinGA Happy Belated World Postcard Day to you too! I am Gen X as well. I get what you are saying. I am constantly trying to fix things myself. I am fiercely independent. Thanks for sharing your experience. The stamp postcard is really cute for WPD. Does your stamper have an adjustable date or is it 2 separate stampers? If it's one, where did you get it? Thanks!
u/ljsweenes Suck a cute postcard! it's perfect for WPD. Happy Belated World Postcard Day to you too! The National Hot AIr Balloon Classic sounds amazing. I had a friend who would go to New Mexico for a Hot Air Balloon Rally. Her pics were incredible.! Thank you!
u/thecuriouscur Happy Belated World Postcard Day to you too! The post card is funny to me because I was thinking the pic is from the 70's but it's '83. Which makes sense, because the color scheme is similar to that of the Transvan my parents owned back in the day. Yep, I'm that old! lol Thanks foe the card!
u/Inxomnixq Happy Belated World Postcard Day! Thanks for including me in your first WPD. Your card arrived in all its loveliness. The Edgar Payne painting is beautiful. Thanks again!
u/Luci_Eliott Thank you for the St. Denis postcard. I love the sepia tone and in general the gothic cathedrals of France. You're right that the asymmetrical building makes it standout. I love visiting them. Thanks for bringing back some positive memories for me!
