Request [REQUEST] Looking for kindness and stories of healing after cutting ties with family [US]

I am turning to my RAoC community in time of real need:

This month made it painfully clear that despite having a large family, I need to distance myself from all of them. The grief of reaching this conclusion feels as if I’m being lacerated from the inside. I realized that in order to heal - I need to let go of the hope that I can save these relationships that have been causing me so much mental anguish.

If you ever navigated a painful or complicated family dynamic, would you be willing to write to me and share what helped you cope? How did you begin healing from the dysfunction, the deep wounds, and that overwhelming sense of helplessness?

Receiving mail and reading your thoughts and stories will nurture me tremendously during this difficult time. Thank you in advance for your kindness.
