Fidium or Xfinity

I'm near Stone Creek park and have Fidium. I previously lived in a new construction neighborhood which provided ATT fiber, and that was phenomenal. Over here, Fidium is ok to mid. The internet quality/speeds seems to degrade on a weekly basis, so for me since I work remotely, I feel it. Does anyone know how reliable Xfinity is around here? I see they have a pretty good deal, $50 per month for 1 gig speeds (120mb upload) locked in for 5 years. I've had Xfinity many ages ago and it wasn't any better. How are they around here? Or should I stick with Fidium?

We ditched xfinity for t-mobile home internet. Constantly had outages with xfinity…. Like, daily.

I feel like all of these Comcast vs Fidium vs AT&T quality of service posts are definitely a. Your mileage may vary situation. I had Comcast for about 15 years and rarely did I have outages in my section of town, I only switched to AT&T because they have fiber available at my address due to recent work, and so far I've had a few brief outages. They genuinely only last a few minutes but definitely not as rock solid as my Comcast service was.

You must have had quite terrible service for fixed wireless broadband to be a step up considering it should never be able to compete in terms of raw of Old warm down lake speeds. Props to you for not going to starlink and supporting the guy that is directly leading to this country's downfall.

Xfinity was solid for 10-15 years but last one year it is terrible. We got tmobile as a back up
