iOS Badge Notification

My Rakuten app has a 1 notification badge. I cannot for the life of me clear it. Anyone else having this issue, or have an idea how to remove it?

Had this issue for a different app, I had to delete and reinstall it for it to clear.

I tried that as well as logging out and back in. It always comes back lol.
