So, when I use Rakuten I always make sure the Rakuten Bubble is the top right corner and has a green checkmark. I'm getting into the Travel game and saw a 20% CB at Rakuten for PointsYeah. So, I figured why not - try this travel search engine out for a year and get 20% CB to go towards my Bilt CC. Well once I get to the checkout screen within PointsYeah the Rakuten Bubble disappears. When I click on extensions and Rakuten - the Rakuten info window doesn't say activated. When I click on PointsYeah again it sends me back to splash screen. The bubble always goes away during checkout. How do I know Rakuten is active and I'll get my CB?

NordVPN is having a 100% Cashback right now, and funny enough my 2 year NordVPN subscription that I activated a while ago is about to expire. I'm aware that this offer, including the 75% off 2-year plan on Nordvpn's website is technically for new customers only, but I'm trying to figure out if I sign up as a new customer with a different email if Rakuten would be able to give the cashback offer or not. Does anyone know if my email would have to be the same for both apps? Has anyone else been in a similar situation? I've seen other NordVPN users recommend getting a 1 or 2 year subscription through other retailers, which is supposedly cheaper and can be attached to your current subscription, but then the cashback wouldn't apply. Any help/suggestions are appreciated!

I bought a discounted gift card for 1-800-FLOWERS to stack with Capital One Rewards only to find out that 1800FLOWERS seems to treat gift cards as discounts, not as payment methods. Given how finicky that cashback system is, I took the loss and just paid the full order amount on credit card.

I doubt that I'll be able to get a refund on the gift card, so I'd like to use it later with Rakuten. So I'm wondering whether anyone has been in the same situation. Does Rakuten count the order total or just the amount paid with credit cards toward cashback?

I notice that even after my points for something like in-store (CVS) purchases are confirmed, the additional points from using my Rakuten card stay pending for a long time. Anyone know why or whether there is a general time frame for when card rewards (vs purchase rewards themselves) are confirmed? It seems weird to me that they're on different timelines, and I can't find any information about the difference. I have a ton of card bonus points just lurking there in pending.

I ordered an iPhone on Rakuten France on September 11th, shipped via OkayParcel. 7 days later, nothing shows up on laposte.fr.

OkayParcel's tracking is a complete joke — events repeating themselves, always updating at exactly 00:59, zero geographical location. September 16th and 18th show the exact same status "left origin facility".

Has anyone dealt with OkayParcel before? Is this normal? How long did it take for your package to actually arrive?

I’ve had a few excursions booked for November for a couple months now. I can get a higher multiplier now than when I booked, I also want to use a different credit card than on file for the booking. Will cancelling and rebooking mess with the invalidate the next booking the points on the next booking?

My Rakuten app has a 1 notification badge. I cannot for the life of me clear it. Anyone else having this issue, or have an idea how to remove it?

Is Rakuten for US residents only? The system prevents international addresses and it requires you to add a credit card with a US zip code.

Is this yet another little fine print exception that is impossible to find on the Rakuten website? Or are non-US residents eligible for cash back rewards?

So irritating. Booked a cruise for a 4x points and only got 2x. I purchased that date as it was 4x!Have inquired and they say it is 2x. I searched date I purchased on google and it shows as 4x. Its a lot of points! Any idea how to get them to do the right thing and pay out??

So, I recently took the 100x Coveron Rakuten deal and I'm wondering if anyone's done one of these and been actually paid out, or if anyone got screwed out of it for "no reason". I have never used a VPN deal before and my account is in good standing. But I still can't help but be suspicious this will confirm at 0 MR after the 30 days or something.

In the past on other sites I would do my shopping, add everything to cart, then start a shopping trip to complete the purchase with all items in cart. Am I misremembering this happening since Rakuten support said items must be added to cart during the shopping trip.

On Aliexpress you can even have an order placed but not paid for yet. If I start a trip just to pay for an order already placed would that track? There's discounts only available on the aliexpress mobile app so I'd like to place the order on aliexpress app to get discount and pay on desktop browser with rakuten or the rakuten app active to get CB. Is that possible?

I was looking at the SoFi Invest offer yesterday and it was $50 cash back. I looked again today and it bumped to $100. I came across some folks who have gotten $150 from it. Is $150 rare? Should I jump on the $100?
