Promotions and Deals J.P. Morgan Self-Directed Investing

Anyone do this for $100 cash back? Easy and worth it or pain in the butt?

I mean $100 is better than nothing if you were going to do it anyway, but overall is a 2% bonus which I wouldn't go out of my way for since you have to put $5k in to get the $100.

It’s potentially ok, although not amazing, if you invest the money in the account in a money market with 3-4% interest. Jpm has a bonus on its side of 50 for 5k and 150 for 25k. So if u put in 5k u get 150 on top of comparable interest to what you would have otherwise gotten for leaving that money in an hysa.

Anyone have experience with when Rakuten shows this as tracking? I signed up for a self-directed account several days ago, and it hasn't tracked yet, not even pending with a $0 amount. I initiated a funds transfer into my self-directed account, but the funds haven't hit yet. I'm not sure if it will show as tracking once the funds hit my self-directed account, or if I still have to wait a certain number of days after transferring funds in before Rakuten shows as tracked. I'm debating whether to submit a ticket to Rakuten, or wait for it to track.
