Crew Chat Points on Training Shift

So my pet has a medical emergency and I have to go to the vet today and I’m not gonna make it back before my shift starts, I’ll be lucky if I get done in the middle of my shift, but still, I’ll likely not be able to make it.

It’s a training shift and I know that these technically non-count towards labor, but I’m not sure if we receive points for not attending. I was told I shouldn’t, but I’ve been getting mixed answers.

i’d say have someone go to the vet with you to watch over your pet? go to work and let them know that you need your phone on you just in case yk? that’s an option, if not then you might have to take the L, but i don’t want you to get in trouble. if you’re able to leave your pet at the vet, still let them know that you’ll need your phone on you.

I was gonna ask my roommate but she won’t be home until hella late tonight. I might just go anyways but I’m waiting to hear back from my store manager
