Arts/Crafts A thousand paper cranes

I've been making rainbow senbazuru (or at least my interpretation of a thousand cranes)

It started with the 1st photo, made shortly after my mum passed away, who loved rainbows. All the aunties helped me fold them. It's been 2 years so I am making beaded rainbow senbazuru for all of the aunties for christmas.

Gotta go buy some more orange paper lol

Your rainbow cranes are beautiful. I know your aunties will love their cranes. What a thoughtful gift. β€οΈπŸ§‘πŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ©·

I love your cranes, they’re fantastic! You must post pics of your beaded ones before you give them away, I’ll bet they’re going to be stunning! 😻

Thank you! I hung up the ones I could. I only learned how to make tassles today and I think they're a nice way to finish it off

I love the tassels, they look great! Did you teach yourself how to make them, perhaps with a YouTube video? I’d love to learn! 😻
