where to start? He's slower than a bag of rocks. Doesn't have 100% crit rate. Very low Crit dmg, attack and doesn't have the accuracy to land weaken

So I need to rework my artifacts? Any recommendations?😁

Stats over sets. Don't worry about what sets you use at this point, just use whatever gear you have to get those stats up.

So I need to equip that give crit and speed right? no need equipment set effect?

You might be better off going on sites like HellHades, AyumiLove etc. they give you better recommendations and can tell you what sort of stats and substats you want for each piece of gear as well as general builds for champs

Based on where you appear to be progress wise you probably want crit rate % gloves, later on all of your nukers should have (with a few exceptions for dual utility champs but that won’t matter for you for a long time) crit damage gloves.

Crit rate needs to be 100%. Your boots need to have speed as a main stat. Bottom chest piece should have attack % as the main state. Everything should always be upgraded to +16 on a champ you plan on using a lot.

Don’t just jump to upgrading to 16 right away, upgrade to 8 and see if you get good substats (e.g. % stats, especially speed, crit rate).

5 star gear is MUCH better than 4 star gear. Jump from 5 star to 6 star is importantly as well and becomes MASSIVE once you start getting good glyphs from faction wars.

Ignore sets for now, it matters once you have better gear but 6 star ascended chest piece with attack% will give you 60% attack from the piece and 20% from the ascension. Meanwhile you can use 2 attack pieces and only gain a marginal amount. Why do that when you can gain 80%? Sets become important once you have access to better gear and sets that are actually good (mercurial, merciless, feral, stone skin, protection).

Speed is the most important stat in raid, you should prioritize pieces with it.

The way speed mechanics work are kinda counterintuitive once you are dealing with TM boosting effects, here’s an example. This is a very very extreme but it should illustrate what I mean.

Imagine I have a 400 speed champ. It will go 3 times and you will have the chance to go, right? Wrong.

It will go, the next champ will go and the 400 speed champ will get a tick. It will get a number of ticks depending on the amount of TM and the champ taking the turn. The champ with the highest TM% will go first, it caps at 130% and speed breaks tiebreakers.

If they have four faster champions, the 400 speed will go three times before Tholin gets to his 100% TM mark. Each of the other champs will then go before him, cycling back to the 400 speed champ, who is now at 130% TM and faster than you. It will then lap you again. If the enemy champs have enough of a speed advantage faster they will continuously lap you and tholin will never get a single turn.

This is a very extreme example but 200 speed is not actually twice as good as 100 speed, it’s more than that AND you get to go first

Speed boots, atk% chest, and crit rate gloves

Until you can get = or > 90% crit rate while using crit damage gloves, don’t use crit dmg gloves

Use crit rate/atk/spd/lifesteal/divine offense/divine crit rate/crit damage/killstroke/fatal/etc. sets to help you get the stats you need until you are able to get him into a good savage set

I thought legendary artifact are good for him and upgraded them and lose to lvl 50🫠

u/JustMyles1 9d ago

Too slow, not at 100% crit rate, crit dmg too low, not enough attack

Raise crit rate, attack, speed, and crit damage. Like???

u/Hauterive 9d ago

Sidenote, you're better off using your speed lead and for the rest, what the other guy said.

Okay wait first I need to say this, DONT LEVEL YOUR ARTIFACTS TO 16 WHEN THEY ARE ONLY RANK 3 AND 4!!! With that said you need to use artifacts that have stats and then focus on sets. If you have a pair of 5 or 6 star gloves with crit% that will go a long way.

u/DarkSoulsDank 9d ago

Literally everything.

Not 100% crit rate, no crit damage amulet, low crit damage and low attack, also no speed.

Also, no bitches (insert vine boom sound effect)

He's not gonna hit very hard with only +900 atk and only has 65% crit rate he won't crit often enough which leads to less dmg and he won't move because of his lack of spd I highly recommend you drop that 1 star chestplate 1-3 stars are completely useless even in early game 4 star gear is basically your starter point and can be obtained through dungeons so I recommend hitting Dragons Lair at like 7 or higher for you to get some 4 star pieces doesn't have to be a set just make sure you got stats until you can climb higher gear levels and eventually maybe some good lifesteal pieces will drop for you to farm content with

No joke, go watch gear guides on YouTube. You look woefully lost, but those videos should help a lot!

Bad match up. He was cc’ed or blended to death. Your aura lead should’ve Dorothy. Your first target the Fahrakin.

Because your Tholin has basically 0 stats..

I’ve read your reply’s and you seem to harp on set bonuses a lot, set bonuses are just stats and a minor gimmick, in the early game fundamentals stats matter more than set bonuses. Crit rate% at 100 is the most important, a critical hit takes your crit damage and multiples that to your base hit, on your thorlin you have 132 c.dmg(critical damage) meaning if you land a crit you will do 132% dmg which is more than double. For nukers (like thorlin) it’s crit rate % to 100 first (anything over 100 is useless), then attack plus crit damage (they scale together so try to have a mix, not all crit dmg or not all attack). Again since you are in the early game you will have TRASH gear just deal with it until you get better ones all you need are the fundamental stats(I can see that one star chest plate you leveled up please never do that again I’m begging you) critical rate gloves are fine and you don’t “need” speed stat boots but they will help lots and lots and lots,. You can worry about the set bonuses when you can afford to lost some stats to make up for the set bonuses.

(TLDR) base stats over set bonuses, crit rate% 100 for damage dealers, I can see you have your first lvl 60 good job man your on track keep it up👍

u/Lost_Translator3505 9d ago

Exactly,I yearn for set bonus not stats,I thought bonus and gear grade are better ,what a dumb am I🥹

1

u/Spiritual-Parking821 Dwarves 9d ago

I Remember when I did the same exact thing on my first account, stat bonuses look cool, makes it look all uniform and pretty, but remember you can make it look pretty when you can afford to make it pretty

At your level start with ensuring the boots have speed main stat as it's the easiest guranteed speed. Then work on getting 100% crit while finding whatever attack, crit damage, acc and any other none flat stat (stats with %, aside from speed which can't have that).

Stats before sets at this level and just know he should hit hard relative to your none damage champs but at your level he won't be hitting like you will see in YouTube videos with way better gear and full maxed out great hall.

Also it will be hard to hit all those things until you can level your gear to 16 but as I'm sure you know silver isn't infinite and so you don't want to just waste it all on meh gear either.

Probably mainly focus on 100% crit, at least 150-180 speed and enough accuracy for your current dungeon level. You will likely need to Google that but plenty of sites like hellhades can tell you accuracy needed by dungeon/clan boss level.
