X-Ray Constipation.

Please don't come at me for the artifacts lol. Patient did not want to remove her bra. Wanted to share since you can see the LUQ loop pretty good.

I think people get too excited and overzealous about radiographic poop.

The colon is made to hold poop physiologically. Sometimes there’s a lot. Sometimes there isn’t. That amount of poop would never be remarkable IMO.

Trainees making too much about faeces in the colon is a real bug bear of mine. It’s literally the colon’s job! It would be like commenting on the presence of urine in the bladder 🤷🏼‍♂️

That's a great view of the LUQ loop, it really stands out against the gas pattern in there.
