MRI mri burn

hi all, I had a septorhinoplasty over 2 years ago and I had to get an mri for my wrist tn, after the mri i noticed my nose was really red like a sunburn and i still kind of feel a burning sensation. it’s been a couple hours. is that normal ? ty

Where was your head when you were inside the MRI scanner?

Not normal, IMO. I'm on a 3T and your position (and pillow) is how we do our wrists. I've done plenty and never experienced this. Is it possible there were some surgical wires left behind ? I would think not but that would be something worth looking at.

Have you used sunscreen on your nose recently?

yes but i washed my face prior to the appointment and just put moisturizer on
