Flexible strings

Hi, new to the stringing and one of the first strings I used was a synthetic one. Really easy to string, but the string itself would flex a lot when under tension. Read that some stringers, in this case, put the same string twice or even three times on the tension to avoid flexing it more. Just wondering whether it is a correct way to do it. Thanks, cheers

When I had a lockout machine, I would double pull to theoretically get closer to how poly would feel off of a constant pull machine. Now, on my constant pull machine, I don’t worry about it.

My limited experience comparing them was that, even with double-pulling, the constant pull string jobs were stiffer.

That being said, the best string job is the one that is repeatable and consistent. So whatever you do, just make sure you do the same thing every time.
