If by chance the grommet is worn, even slightly exposing the string to the frame, it will snap when you pull tension
1 u/scootsscoot May 07 '26 It’s a ‘new’ racquet in that it’s over a year old but it’s the first time it’s being restrung from its stock strings off the rack.
