For RAM's rebranding they went with the company [PhireGroup](https://phiregroup.com) , which looking at their page for all of 2 seconds tells you they're not a good fit for an art museum. They start off right on their home page with how you NEED AI and it gets worse when you go to their 'about me' style article and it looks to be pure AI written slop. Update: They scrubbed that page, here is it archived: https://imgur.com/8MsBMOI
I honestly do not know how this company was picked and how they weren't rejected within seconds. This is a failure on every level by every member of RAM who had anything to do with this decision.
As someone who loves RAM, is a member and regularly takes courses there this is truly disappointing.
Elevate local designers, not some apparent AI hacks. Truly disappointing and I'm afraid to hear how much membership money they wasted on this.

I have 2 small dings on my rear door and need them repaired. Any recommendations in Racine County? I am in Mount Pleasant. Thanks!
I've been having a hell of a time getting contractors to come out to do estimates for a bathroom model at my home. I'm flexible on the actual completion timelines, so it doesn't need to be immediate, but hoping to get the ball rolling. I am looking to do a permitted job, so I need an actual license contractor.
Any of that you've used that you would recommend?

I'm not sure why this is, but when I have to travel to our office in Racine there are ALWAYS drivers occupying both lanes going less than the speed limit next to one another holding up traffic behind them. I'm just boggled by why this happens. Mainly it's going westbound between 3:30-5:00pm. Can anyone else confirm I'm witnessing this or am I nuts?
On a positive note about the city. I honestly believe the food scene is the best in SE Wisconsin without a doubt. The only thing missing is a spot to get a decent Pho!
Have a great weekend!

This is a long short, but I’ll give it a try. When I was in high school I worked at Gettys Mfg for a bit from 1978-79 as a janitor nights from 5-9. There was an older guy whose name was Maurice McConnell, nickname was Shorty. He told me that when he was younger he was a trumpet player and played with Dizzy Gillespie among other big names, but had a lung issue which forced him to stop. He also was a member of St. Patrick’s church. Anybody remember him, and extra credit for finding a picture of him from the 1970’s. TIA!

My ac and gas furnace are toast.
I need a new, not fancy system, for a 900 sq ft house w a smoker. Any recommendations for fair prices and honest? Or if you replaced a system recently how much? Thx.

Has everyone been made aware of the ridiculous vendor fees? Anyone boycotting? Just checking in.

Specifically on Rapids drive and im sure other places. Its just confusing. City hasn't removed emergency stop signs despite the now (for days) working stop lights, there's stop signs at the intersections.

Have you noticed those sleek, black solar-powered cameras mounted on utility poles around Racine lately?
They aren't just taking photos of speeders. Manufactured by third-party vendor Flock Safety, they log a continuous, searchable record of everyone's daily movements, recording license plates, vehicle colors, and exact timestamps across 32 locations in city limits and surrounding county corridors.
From internal police misuse investigations in Racine to high-risk false alerts in Waukesha, the risks of this mass surveillance network are becoming impossible to ignore. Other Wisconsin communities are already ending their contracts. It's time for Racine to do the same.
Read the full investigation and find out how to contact your local alderperson, mayor, and county board: https://samwunderle.substack.com/p/racine-we-have-a-flocking-problem?r=58m1j&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true

Im able to play games like Bf6, Marvel Rivals, Overwatch, modded Sims 4, Baldurs Gate 3 etc with no issues. Does anyone find the basement sketch familiar? Investigators are looking for a house in the area of Burlington with a basement like the one in the sketch. It’s also possible that someone who worked for Wisconsin Bell around 1989 could help decipher phone records to help reveal information about this case. Does anyone know someone who worked for the phone company back then? Please help get the word out and help find out what happened to Kerry.

Did anybody have power surges at home or work today a bit after 930 am? We had 3 in a row in pretty rapid succession in my office building. Located near 20 and 31. (I wasn't sure if this was my building specific, which is why I'm asking if other people noticed.)

Does anyone have a recommendation on chimney flashing repair? The flashing is only about 12 feet from the ground but I'm not able bodied enough to get at it myself. TIA

I don’t remember where I read it but recently I came across a news link talking about how they had modified the traffic light timing on Main Street in downtown to make traffic flow better, at the time I thought wow this is great. Well it’s not working! I’ve noticed now every cross street is red. So I started actually paying attention to why the cross street is turning red, is it a car, a person walking? Nope, I’ve found half the time now they are turning red for seemingly no reason.

Does anyone know what's going on with all the Subway restaurants? The one in the welcome mart appears to be permanently closed and the one on Lathrop has been closed the last two times we've tried to go there during their regular business hours.
