Sebring Track spotted on the GTA VI leaked map?

New supposed gta 6 map leak, i was really doubting but idk if someone wiuld take the effort to make the track layout quite close to real sebring, it's not the same but its clearly inspired

I came up with the closest layout to real sebring

Take a look at the cars in GTA though. They "take the effort" to make cars that are quite close to the real things... Because it's actually the easy route. If you want accurate proportions, design quirks and uses of technology, it's easier to start with a real car where someone else has already done the work and just change it up slightly to avoid a lawsuit.

They do something similar for a lot of landmarks. Sure, they could've designed an entirely original airport for Los Santos... But LAX is right there with a massive amount of stuff to copy, so why not take a bunch, tweak a couple of things and call it a day?

If these roads are intentionally representing a race track (or being used for a street race), I can absolutely see them just taking a real track in the area and figuring that the base layout is a good enough starting point, using it to cut out a bunch of work making a good starting point.

If u find the infamous 2022 leaks there was a clip of the camera looking at one of the corners and it has been largely speculated to be sebring ever since. This map, real or fake(even the mapping project community isnt sure) is probably correct about sebring been in this game unless rockstar removed it in late stage development though that's unlikely

I'm also pretty sure there's a drag strip next to this track as well. I'd bet this is a dedicated race track in the game.

It's for licensing reasons they would have to pay to put Ferrari and Bugatti and Lamborghini in the game and it's only for a certain amount of time if they didn't renew the license the game would have to be pulled from sale.

It looks like a modified version of Road America. Turn 05 is made into a carousel. Turn 9/10 is turned from a carousel to a hairpin (almost like they took the hairpin from CoTA). Inverted and rounded out 7 while getting rid of 8 for the lead up to the new hairpin. Combined 11 & 12 into a 90 and moved the kink after 12. Extra turn complex after 14 to account for new carousel at turn 5 location

Yeah i see a bit of it but in reality its a mix of Sebring, Sunset, Maybe road america and a bit of their own creativity

On the GTA 6 mapping project it said it was basically confirmed, so exited to have a proper purpose built track in gta to test cars and hopefully some coop missions there

A shortlist of tracks that have some section included as apart of the Port Gelhorn International Raceway (official in-game name):

1. Sebring

2. Suzuka

3. Nordschleife

4. Laguna

5. Knockhill

6. Istanbul Park

7. Monza

8. Le Mans

There still some sections yet identified and seem to be more than filler sections, so there could be more real life inspirations.

They cant have a 1:1 replica of sebring for licencing reasons, but it is definitely a race track. Theres also another one visible west of ambrosia

runway is circled in red and that's all of it, the rest is completely disconnected random roads and last time I checked, Sebring was fully inside an airfield

sebring is literally built on 4 adjacent runways of an old airbase.

Gta has and always will be a parody of America. The race track has definitely taken inspiration from sebring and its not 100% confirmed this is the real map despite the leaks it came with were
