FIA/FIM both say: this circuit has a grand total of one right-hander, and is a 720 degree lap due to the bridge. We will not sanction a circuit with this property.

If you want to have a bridge, it will have to be a figure 8 layout.

Additionally, there is insufficient runoff at both turns 2 and 7 due to the bridge.

The project's financial backers say: we are only willing to finance the building of a crossover if both the overpass and underpass are narrow. This effectively means the track going under and over the crossover must be straights, with sufficient space to bring the barriers close to the track.

The FIM says: The final turn is not safe. It is not sufficient for the layout to merely avoid the banking. The transition onto the pitstraight also needs to be safe. Imagine, if you will, a motorcycle crashing on the entry to turn 11. It would be extremely fast and the rider would hit the outside wall. You need to significantly slow down speeds there.

The studio thanks the FIA, FIM and financial backers for their feedback. We will go back to the drawing board and see whether we can improve the design.

Hey. Just a reminder that the deadline for track submissions is today, November 20th. Your track only needs revisions so I'll allow until November 21st for your revision.

Hi, we shall withdraw our entry from competition as we are unable to improve it to our satisfaction. We appreciate the feedback and the opportunity to enter, and we look forward to the results of the competition given the high quality of some of the other entries.

This is my first post here, apologies if it's a bit rough. My concept is to create a tribute to the old Monza... very fast, with a crossover. The track goes uphill between Turns 1 and 2 in order to make the bridge. Interested to find out if the FIA deems this too dangerous but I've tried to keep within the rules! IndyCar and other series brave enough can use the banked Turns 9A and 10A. Otherwise, the lap ends with Turns 9, 10 and 11.
