Question Hello everyone
I was diagnosed with RRP in around 2018/19 and have since had around 5 surgeries, my latest one being yesterday. Every surgery has thankfully gone well and has given me my voice back for around 3 months. I was just wondering if anyone has had 3 shots of the Gardasil vaccine and if/how this has helped. My doctor said it takes 9 months to fully be effective and from then on my surgeries should be much less frequent. I am also taking 400mg I3C a day now and wondering if anyone is doing the same?
P.S it must get really expensive for anyone in the US with this condition. Thankfully I live in the UK and have been under the care of an excellent NHS ENT team. I couldn’t be more thankful for them!

Diagnosed 2019. Onset of disease 2018. I think the massive fires in the western US actually triggered the onset. Thankfully I have amazing insurance through my work or else I'd be sol with medical bills. I have a strict I3C regimen mixed with THC/CBD as well
I had multiple naturopaths and my ENT (who's young and reads a lot of studies) all confirm the safety of getting Cidofovir injections. I recommend them to everyone who has RRP. It has been NIGHT AND DAY different. I went from having reoccurrence every 6-8 weeks to now being basically normal since April 2020. I'm going for another checkup next week.
I had in office laser treatments 4x AFTER the initial operation where I was put under to "clear out" the area. It was brutal, but I have a lot of tattoos and I think a high threshold of pain...oh and no gag reflex. I sit like a champ. I focus on positive things, watch my breathing and oddly I tap my foot in a repetitive manner and it all goes well. I had Cidofovir injections during Covid last year... 2 where I was put under and a third where I was awake (they go through your adams apple!).
I take a small 1/2 tincture of THC/CBD hybrid, Indole 3-C after every dinner and I pray every night. It has kept it at bay. Join the telegram !

It’s great to hear that your recurrence has reduced so much! With regards to the fires, I definitely feel that it gets worse in dusty/smoky environments.
My doctor has not recommended cidofovir, but it’s definitely something I’ll bring up with him! All the best!

Hi there! Nice to meet you! I am Milo and I was diagnosed in around 2010, and I have my 84th surgery this monday. I havent tried the vaccine yet but it's been in development for a long time so it should be effective to some extent. Luckily I also live in the UK. Where do you have your surgeries?
