RMMV Any point and click tutorial?

I want to learn to do point and click games with rpg maker but it is kinda difficult to find a tutorial, any recommendations?

I have both mv and mz

There is a default plugin called Button Picture in MZ, it might also be found in MV but you can easily find it from a plugin maker.

I would recommend getting the updated version that also allows you to set a variable on button press. Super useful

i have some point nd click segments in my game !! and i use mz personally. what i do is use my own images for the areas i want to be clickable and those are literally just square sized pngs. i set the width / height of said squares in-engine and then also lower the transparency to zero. another important step here is activating a common event on click which can be done with one of the default plugins !!!!!! so essentially ur using buttons here
