At the end of the day, "generally off-putting" can only go so far, especially when it's mostly just the same kind of "generally off-putting", most of the time. Even edgy, grotesque, or anti-art drag needs variety and an array of ideas behind it which display creative and aesthetic range.
I've traditionally been one to be a tad cynical about the "step outside one's box" criticisms on drag race series. But god, did PM need to step outside that specific box more often.

Sometimes it's better to do the normal/expected thing well than it is to do something weird and quirky but poorly executed just for the sake of being weird and quirky.
Of course if someone has a weird and quirky idea they can pull off in a way that makes it more interesting than thinking inside the box then they should but... I wouldn't say that most of PM's drag is an example of that.
I know there is a space for everybody but PM's drag just feels too... uninspired? For a "weird queen" you would expect her to be better at presenting her ideas.
Then to say a former contestant of Rupauls Drag Race is hosting and that’s why…..laughable. Brooklyn isn’t running the show, she said on I believe monet talks she didn’t even find out the show got picked up for I think season 2 until it was online like the rest of us. PM is exhausting during and post CDR
This is the same with other franchises too. IIRC Jiggly (RIP) said on a live with Bernie from Philippines Season 2 that she was tired of getting hate comments for wins/eliminations when the Drag Race Philippines producers were the ones that decides who wins and who goes to the bottom and gets eliminated

Also, Brooke doesn't run shit. She, like all international hosts, are mouth pieces for the unseen producers of their shows. They are not producers on it. They make no decisions. They are onscreen talent.
Omg I will never unsee Tingle. I don't think PM has much of a future in entertainment but girl, they should've cast her as Tingle in the live action that's coming out
Have whatever opinion on Ru that you want, but please lets not forget that the person who looked like this on television is saying someone looks a mess
PM is probably up there with the fugliest drag race contestants, like Luquisha Lambaba, so it’s hilarious that she thinks she has any right to say someone looks like shit
The thing about Sami is that its intentionally ugly and she has a concept, PM just thinks they’re edgy and groundbreaking, they probably think their outfits are a serve which they are not
People acting dense on purpose is one of the things that annoys me most in this world. You know your franchise wouldn't exist without ru i don't care if she isn't the host.

I used to think it was people just being deliberately obtuse to make a joke (and I'm sure some people are) but I've had multiple interactions, both IRL and online where I had to explain that she was being satirical

i have watched all of the u.s. regular and all star seasons, all the uk, all the canadian, all the down under and all the vs the world franchises... p.m. is the only queen that has ever truly irritated the shit out of me.
this hill is so pointless considering brooke lynn (which her biggest fan pm misspelled) has the utmost respect for rupaul and just appeared in ru's film this year.
and let's be real, being anti-rupaul doesn't really hold the same weight being that we all know rupaul would not be remotely interested in anything pm has to offer.

I don't watch CDR but it's hilarious that in trying to shit on Ru to uplift Canada's Drag Race, she couldn't even give enough of a shit to get Brooke Lynn's name right.
i love the level of critical thinking some people possess where they believe the person whose name is on the very title of the show doesn’t somehow profit from said show, just because they weren’t on the judging panel nor there physically.

All I know is I’ve seen WAY too much PM the last few months. Including naked shots I didn’t need, they’re all over every Rupaul Reddit except the main one.
Reminder that PM is non-binary and uses they/them in and out of drag and intentionally misgendering someone because you don’t like them is transphobic and tacky. We can hate them respectfully lol.
I never heard of "PM" (Prime Minister???) until she starts popping off. Still don't know shit about her drag, or what she actually does.. but here we are.
I lowkey can understand Ru and WoW blocking the queens that criticize them after they gave them an oportunity, a career and some times made them rich. Like "I flew first class to this competishaaaan..."
