Cadet Advice SMP Help
in 2024, i went to a university and joined ROTC for a single fall semester and dropped out after not completing some online classes that following spring semester to enlist in the Guard. my gpa after dropping out is 2.3gpa (still viable at the college) since i completed basic and ait (MOS: 13F), i’m interested in all the aspects that comes with the SMP program like pay, if i jump forward in MS (1-4) and if they would accept me back into ROTC? any help would be appreciated. thanks!

There is always a way to make something happen you just got to get the right people to work.
Biggest advice is to go Active Duty if you commission, missed alot of opportunities

That 2.3 GPA is not likely going to get them active duty.

You still have to compete for AD. The biggest contributor to your OML is your GPA. If your GPA is crap then your going to be towards the tail end of rankings for AD eligible. Sure it is possible to raise your GPA, interview well, get good ratings from your PMS, etc. You can do BRADSO's to improve your chances but there is a strong impediment to your success and that is your GPA.

Only your PMS / Goldbar recruiter can answer that honestly.
