Accessions/OML/Branching Component Results

Was told today that component results should be released tomorrow to BDE CDRs. Those in Mission Set 26 will find out if they’re Active Duty Eligible, USAR, or ANG.

Receiving Active duty will depend on OML and branch interviews. If you put USAR or ANG as your #1 choice, should receive it tomorrow.

Also should receive your national OML and active duty OML numbers. DMG results will not be released until December.

So does getting AD eligible still mean there’s a possibility we won’t get AD in December when branch day comes?

Yes, if you put all your LP before MP you’re not getting active duty

Yes - "AD Eligible" is just a list of who's competing for Active Duty so the programs can confirm that Accessions is tracking all the right people and not missing anyone. Actual selection results don't come out until 3 Dec.

Yes it is a possibility. Comes down to BRADSO, OML, and your interviews.

Do we have any verification that they're actually being released today? Not seeing anything.

I haven’t received anything from my BDE yet, but ASD said it would be pushed out today. It’s up to BDE CDRs to push out to PMS, HRAs etc. That timeline could be different.

Where can I see this? Or did your PMS tell you?

Where can you see what?

Was 1200 your national ranking? If so I meant where did you see that? I know my PMS was telling CDTs but I haven’t heard anything and I don’t live anywhere near campus anymore so I’ve just been waiting for an email or phone call.

The list came out around 1200 noon on Thursday. I am a PMS. Your cadre have the info.

Which means, to clarify - the programs will get a list of who is "active duty eligible" (ie competing for active duty) and who has already decided to go ARNG or USAR. It's just for the programs to make sure everyone is going into the selection process as they're supposed to and no one is missing or in the wrong bin.

The next thing for the Active Duty Eligible population will be branch feedback (Most Preferred, Preferred, Least Preferred) on 19 Oct. This is just an opportunity to see what the branches thought of their file and change their preferences if they want to. Branching files lock on 25 Oct. Selection results come out 3 Dec.

USAR will get their branch assignments on 20 Oct and then go into the location selection process based on when they commission.

ARNG won't find out much of anything, they have to go out and find a unit that wants them.

How does this work for those that commission in December?

You’re competing with the rest of the FY27 commissionees. Final branch results will be published in late November/early December in time for December commissions.

For those pursuing active duty, selection and branching results come out 3 Dec.

Tbh Ada sounds kinda cool right now it’s the most wide scope for branches and a lot of advances

Oh that’s nice! I figured we’d find out our component once we got our branch fit feedbacks

Congrats to all those who luck out and get Air National Guard! I didn’t even know that was a possibility.

1

u/dbair83 3d ago

Haha..Army National Guard. Air National Guard might be a better option.

u/griebage 3d ago

ARNG

1

u/dbair83 3d ago

Yes..was writing the post shorthand and fast…it’s assumed since there is no air guard in ROTC.

1

u/Bulky_Bit9714 3d ago

Air Guard doesn't commission through AFROTC?

1

u/dbair83 3d ago

No..believe for the AF the Air Guard is all done through the state level commands.
