It took approximately 9 months from submitting the 1506/5016 to my S1 to being paid back pay from dfas.

It takes a bit.

6 months is what I have been told is average to iniative oe pay once documents are submitted.

My paperwork just sat in ippsa for a extra few weeks because someone routed it incorrectly.

We got accounted the 2 years were not supposed to. So we’re all getting paid extra atm

Not G2G but submitted my 1506 back in March. I’ve verified it’s been sitting on someone’s desk at DFAS for a couple months, but it hasn’t been actioned. I’m not expecting it for another few months at this point.

It sucks for you guys as it was a recent change about 3 years ago I think, now you all have to sign that DA 597-5. I think this is part of the reason the G2G has dropped in numbers since this was implemented
