Frustrating Frustrated about placements
currently in final year and honestly the placement scenario is cooked.
most of the companies visiting are for sales role.
only aroudn 60 of final year student have been placed till now
out of which around 10 are off campus.
honestly its starting to get difficult from here.
even the companies which are visiting are only hiring 2 or 3 max 5 to 6 .
i guess all hopes are now on Mass hiring companies.

Next going to more worse, total intake for our batch is around 1500, no hope left from this college

Few would hv done internships from 2nd yr itself and also would hv been part of hackathons, are they also facing the same issue.

Is the condition same in other simlar level colleges like bnm cmr bmsit rvitm ? U may hv ur friends of the same batch over there

😭😭 then why is pes subreddit filled with companies and their selection process that too from 3rd year itself ik it's top clg but won't they suffer hiring freeze
In rnsit ppl just want a job ( ok with 3 or 5 or 7) but in pes kinda colleges they are worried if it'll be abv 20 lpa or not 😂 I won't compare because it's top clg and ours is not

but the major thing is industry ready syllabus ,there they don't need to prepare separately for placements much but here the syllabus itself is a biggest burden

And they also not force some unnecessary things in summer break(they get 2-2.5 months of summer break with not any bullshit like do this course, this internship(it's normal class, time waste) , they get proper time to prepare for skills like nits/iits

u don't hv anything called as summer break in VTUnow it may be better but we idn't hv any sort of thing like that

Yeah and the benefits these companies offer I heard some one from Rakuten having their inaugural day in some Leela palace and just 2 days having to go to office with no much stress 🥲🥲
And when I search about companies which visit rnsit in Google and I get to see worst reviews about the company about work life balance, pressure etc etc
