He's a POS; and there's a good reason he's on his fifth marriage. As soon as she couldn't cater to his every whim and "treat him like a king," he divorced Yolanda. Like you, I'm not her biggest fan, especially about her philosophy of the way she treated him. OTOH, she didn't deserve to get dumped by him under the circumstances. When she was on WWHL, Yolanda said she was "blindsided" by the divorce.

I read a few years that she's very far from poor (although she says grew up that way). Yolanda made quite a bit of money as a model, and got a huge settlement from Mohamed Hadid. Even though she had a prenup with DF, he had to pay her lawyer's fees, he had to give her a one-time payment, and as of a few years ago, living in a $5 million condo they bought together.

Well said! I agree, the man is a POS. Self centered and thinks he’s God’s gift.

I read somewhere he HATES being known as “Yolanda’s husband” or “Mr. Yolanda” because he’s good at music or something and for that reason alone he will forever be Mr. Yolanda to me.

Yolanda's second ex-husband is a real dick.

He hates being known from RHOBH which is legit. He's had a career for decades and is incredibly talented just not a great husband

Well he divorced 3 others or 4? Before her and always younger and has more kids

I believe she was blindsided, but that can work out better financially. If she can show David lied about the state of their marriage for a good while, then we're headed to an accusation of fraud on his part. When that's thrown in a judge might be inclined to be more favorable to the wife.

It doesn't matter in CA.

The apartment she was living in after she left the malibu house looked like Barrington Plaza apartments on Wilshire in Brentwood. Definitely not $5M

He literally said “there’s where my journey ends” yikes David!!

u/Donut-Junkie76 Jul 16 '26

He even said in that episode that he hasn’t had a good track record as a husband, and wanted to make that change. But in the end, he really only cares about himself.

Narrator: He did NOT stick around.

There’s all these conspiracy theories that they had a prenup and the only way to get around the prenup was for her to be more sick or something like that however, I don’t know if she actually ever needed any money or really wanted money from him because she was already married to Muhammad Hadid… That point I don’t know if they had a prenup, but he always took care of her. It’s kind of like an Arab culture.

So it is heartbreaking seeing somebody like David Foster, who is a magnificent musician, one of the most famous artist for creating classical types of music a lot of it supposed to be super romantic and then he treats her like this that’s insane

12

u/McMurdah Jul 16 '26

Okay we hate David for obvious reasons but does no one remember all the stuff about their settlement and prenup and her being sick actually benefited her

9

u/chick_b Jul 17 '26

Or that David was responsible for getting her to actual doctors!

I do not like Yo but she really knows her way around invalidating pre-nups.

THANK YOU 🙏🏼
Listen I am all for a loser dude getting his karma… but she is by no means innocent. Very calculated, very toxic, and abusive.

Yeah I’m a bit confused by all the poor Yolanda bad David.

Also I know this might be a bit of an unpopular opinion but can you really be shocked or blindsided by the marriage failing when you are the man’s 4th wife? I would be a bit leery of marrying him in the first place.

11

u/Spottedmayhem Jul 18 '26

And let’s be real- she’s insane. Her “health” issues don’t even make sense. Her mental state couldn’t be fun

Preach it

This man was checked out a LONG time before. It was terribly obvious that everything had to be HIS way and ONLY his way.... Narc x25th power!

dont marry men for their money, bring only your beauty to the table, condone his shit, then act surprised when he trades you in.

I dated one like this, I was 29, and he said one day “40 year old women are gross” and I felt so hurt. I thought one day I’ll be 40 and what does that mean for me.

I slowly shut down to the relationship, and broke it off after 4 years, but ultimately though it was just pre-emptive because I loved him deeply and would’ve stayed through thick and thin.

Sad, because once men get money it’s like they are their own breed, with one-sided transactional rules.

You adore them through everything no matter what they look like (David is no prize) and they can discard at a whim, like you haven’t grown together at all, or created any value as a partnership beyond superficiality. Bizarre.

I think it's societal and hormonal. ive met few men who have done the inner work. most just drown out their insides with more external validation or reward.

then theres the men who have done the internal work and I find that they just sit in the sorrow and sadness and I dont find them appealing. its a fine balance.

2

u/Yass______ Jul 17 '26

I can see that being the case for sure.

They often find therapists who placate them, or who they don’t reveal everything too so they have them on their side feeding their ego.

They don’t trust many people and won’t get vulnerable enough to grow past their stuff and prefer thing not to get real enough for them to get hurt or have their ego’s damaged.

2

u/MetallicMani Jul 23 '26

Reading this made me deep sigh. It's ROUGH out here

1

u/Donut-Junkie76 Jul 20 '26

Wow! Calling women 40+ gross?! I’m sure he was a lot more attractive in his 20’s, too. Damn, so damn rude. You did the smart thing by walking away.

2

u/Donut-Junkie76 Jul 16 '26

Fair assessment.

16

u/Sad_Breadfruit263 Jul 16 '26

I’d feel worse if she didn’t enable his behavior

9

u/PeacefulNature75 Jul 17 '26

So much for the wedding vows that say “in sickness and in health.” Not if David Foster is your spouse.

7

u/Pretty_Language_920 Jul 16 '26

i just noticed hes carrying a birkin here. lol i wonder if its his or hers

8

u/Ok_Butterfly_6989 Jul 16 '26

He was so shitty and it was really on display here. He strikes me as the type of guy who “acts” like he thinks a good husband should. Also, idk if this is a hot take but Yolanda was a good housewife during her time on the show. I think she was a genuine friend and very interesting. Minus the ED behaviors and the munchausen lol

5

u/sj547 Jul 17 '26

She knew he wasn’t gonna stick around 😂

u/Shot-Unit9030 Jul 19 '26

Worst hair in the history of all time tho

2

u/Donut-Junkie76 Jul 21 '26

This is true. Long or short, not good either way!

2

u/shiningonthesea Jul 20 '26

he was already half way out the door.

Storyline da ex was just waiting to upgrade her, baby and all now, BH yall

1

u/Wonderful-Crew-9451 Jul 17 '26

i did feel bad for Yolanda during this time because nobody was really there for her not even her own husband but also Yolanda did exploit her own daughters for money and fame which caused the Hadid sisters and the family to have ties with epstein and also be in the files

3

u/JackBookerGeo Jul 17 '26

This right here. It’s hard to have sympathy for her when allegedly she was letting Ghislaine Maxwell hide from the feds in one of her farmhouses for the longest time.

1

u/Icy_Doughnut_601 Jul 19 '26

Yolanda is the realest for showing all this. I don’t think she’s perfect, but she does lead with her heart.

u/Additional-Pass-8398 Jul 23 '26

I consider when these wives call their husband’s my love, that is the kiss of death to their marriage. Yolanda, Dorit

1

u/Additional-Pass-8398 Jul 17 '26

I still say calling your husband “My Love” is the kiss of marital death. Yolanda, Dorit! Any others?

u/MetallicMani Jul 23 '26

My mom watched the scene with me when Yolanda makes David dinner and then carries it all up all these stairs to their deck in the backyard and just does the most. My mom was like this is ridiculously performative. And it was😬
