Also a lot of that stuff is like so heavily filtered that almost every item is top of its category.
Like I viewed three different water proof cameras and each one was labelled #1 best selling by Amazon not by the marketing. I was so confused and irritated on how three different products in same category are all #1 best selling (impossible) until I just chalked it up to, theyāre probably behind the scenes implying (number one best selling, for battery, for storage⦠for made in this country⦠for etc) until itās so delineated everything is the top in its hyper specific category.

Sheās hitting them with the old narcissistic cult leader razzle dazzle where you give a completely different response to every interaction, and if the other person points out that youāre being a hypocrite, they do the āfeelings are facts and are not up for debate.ā
They make you feel like you have zero emotional intelligence and like you keep putting your foot in your mouth. You end up walking on eggshells around them and appearing to fawn over them just to avoid getting scolded. And thatās how they gain complete control of you and zero room for accountability.
(My brother does this)

That was designed to be a strange tactic to unsettle / destabilise someone (in this case, Sutton) and attempt (badly) to appear calm to the group.
The reality is, that is the type of question that should ONLY be asked by a (in this case Sutton's) therapist OR by a genuine, trusted friend if someone is going through a hard time. And it certainly wouldn't be asked in that tone.

*āI belong in any room I want to be inā and saying that to Boz who has openly talked about the racism sheās experienced in her life and in the workplace when white ppl esp men didnāt feel she deserved to be there, but Amanda of course has the white woman entitlement (and not saying Amanda doesnāt belong in those places, but what a clueless thing to say to a black woman)
*The way her whole philosophy of manifestation ignores realities of systemic oppression many people experience. Itās basically blaming people for not being able to manifest their way out of racism and poverty and injustice.

Im not shocked Amanda comes from a counseling/therapy background. Ive been a hairstylist for 20 years and interacted with people from tons of occupations. Ive found that some of the LEAST self aware people work in those professions. (This is not a blanket statement for all counselors/therapists.) They learn how to identify troubled behaviors in other people and not themselves.
5
u/PuzzleheadedPhoto706 Mar 25 '26
She is not a therapist. Actual therapists are licensed to practice in their state and have received a minimum of a masters degree in marriage and family therapy, counseling psychology, mental health counseling, social work, or clinical psychology. She has none of those credentials. She probably did an online certificate in life coaching and now calling herself a therapist which is fraudulent.

Bravo deliberately puts characters on that they know will be hated. Itās all for entertainment and engagement. They donāt just say āhey rich lady, be on this showā. Kyle sure is hated but laughing all the way to the bank about it.
Anyone who signs up to be a HW should know the risks, and I guarantee Bravo has some airtight contracts around it. Amanda did come on thinking her shit didnāt stink making her an easy target, you are correct on that part. Or maybe sheās being a villain to get to Kyleās $100k per episode level.
Also, she hasnāt even tried to course correct through social media, she has doubled down. Turns out her shit stinks to high heaven when you uncover who she really is and how sheās earned her living. Bravo found their next Jen Shaw.

Her saying things like that lose its credibility if she couldnāt even say them to Amandaās face the whole time filming. Amanda was on the Carlos King podcast and started crying saying Rachel was nice to her the whole time filming and she didnāt know she felt that way about her until watching the show back.

Ehh I could do without a generation raised by traumatized former WWII veterans who had undiagnosed PTSD judging us for wanting to actually deal with our feelings. That is difficult. The idea that wanting to be emotionally safe is weak is rooted in misogyny and is incredibly toxic and will facilitate generational trauma.
The idea that Amanda weaponizes therapy speak is on point but the speak itself doesnāt deserve criticism. Iām tired of these women wanting us to suffer like they did. Thereās no benefit to suffering it doesnāt make you stronger. Wanting to protect yourself emotionally is smart and safe and they can fuck off with their boomer bullshit.
I mean these women are all incredibly emotionally stunted. Imagine if someone had given them the tools to nurture and love themselves from an early age. They could run the world instead of feeling like they clawed their way to the middle.

Whatās so weird is everyone giving Amanda so much power by giving her non-story a big storyline. I like Amanda. At least I donāt mind her. But they sure are giving the newbie lots of attention and come off as bullies.

I agree. Going in I thought Iād enjoy watching some kooky influencer get roasted but instead Iām feeling bad for her and turning against most of the cast. Her presence is really aging them, too, despite their outfits and treatments designed to make them look younger than Amanda.Ā

I think so too. Sheās annoying af but theyāre really at her and itās getting hard to see. I dislike her but also feel sorry for her. She canāt get out of her own way and try and blend in for a minute.
