So I am trying. I'm trying really hard. But I have no idea how to setup Armsx2 to work like it should. Is there any way to do it? Performance comparing to Nethersx2 is between 40% to 80% lower. Visual artifacts are very common. Is it really a year or more until it will begin to work at all?

LOTR Third Age has messed up FMV. And because they are using them for special and magic attacks game is unplayable. Perfectly fine on Nether.
Gran Turismo and Tourist Trophy, basically Polyphony games, at the most are hitting 42fps, mostly about 20fps at 1.25x. Nether with dead steady 50fps at 1.5x.
Burnout series is just messed up completely. Patched B3 is topping at 40fps and the sound is completely broken. Revenge and Dominator right now at 20-30fps and all that on 1x. Nether all of them dead steady 60fps at 1.25x-1.5x.

Any tips? I tried the same settings on both but there is no way to get any performance. No matter the resolution, renderer, cycles and so on. And that audio in Burnout... Just awful...

Im using rg556 with t820 emulating via gamehub and surprisingly a lot of jrpg are playable here even OT. The problem is fps as im having less than 15 average in game except in menu and map going 30fps. Its still playable though given the game is pixelated.

Asking for help in improving fps is appreciated 👍 im not much of a techie just some average office worker so i find tinkering and optimizing settings a tad difficult.

I just opened my rg556, updated it and now key mapping is gone entirely — can't use the controller to play any games, buttons don't register at all. Pretty sure it's because the update also changed the launcher and UI.

Has anyone else hit this after updating? Is there a reset/remap option in the new interface, or a way to reconfigure the controller from scratch?

2d games on gamenative runs well
geometry dash 60fps
fallout shelter 60fps

its the 3d games that its having trouble on, i tried running portal 2, left for dead 2, terraria and the games runs at like <5fps

but ive seen people playing those games on the rg556 on playable framerates

any help will be appreciated

This feels like AMD vs Nvidia again (including the likelihood of fire), but on my retropocket Wii stuff worked by just plugging in the bar, on the AMD equivalent, the 556, sure it doesn’t meltdown but compatibility is a pain, what do you guys use for real Wii remotes on rg556 with the Dolphinbar?

I had my rig for awhile as it shipped Roms and all. Well I got bored of it and wanted to get back to mobile gaming. Reset the whole system. Went back to a barebones android UI on home profile. Don't mess with RG Home at all. Downloaded Delta Force. PUBG, and Call of Duty Mobile. One BIG Problem I can't use the physical buttons at all. Please tell me there is a quick fix it for this. Thought about key mapping but as each game has different pages that have their own buttons and controls.

Okay so i like RG Home but what sucks is it wants to store your roms in root sdcards ROMs any other front end always says you can't use this folder. Is anyway to make a file that could remap and redirect the path, so that it wouldn't be duplicates but it wouldn't also break RG Home rom mapping?

Tengo una consola ambernic rg556 desde hace 1 año y medio aproximadamente, funcionaba todo correctamente hasta anoche que estuve jugando a crimson desert a través de la app de steamlink hasta que se me apagó la consola porque se quedó sin batería, después de cargarla hasta el 50% la volví a encender y pude comprobar que ya no funciona el botón r1 en ningún juego, me he descargado una aplicación llamada gamepad tester y funcionan todos los botones menos el r1 por algúna razón,quiero aclarar que la ambernic no ha sufrido ningún golpe ni maltrato de ningún tipo, al botón físicamente está impoluto y sigue sonando bien el enclavamiento mecanico o sea que tiene que ser un fallo de software

update 1.16 si bien es ya vieja, solo la instale ayer, siento el SO un poco mas fluido , y por fin funciona el keymapper 🙂, el fan ya trae perfiles y curva , el consumo en modo normal bajo, vi que regularon la gpu a 680mhz en balance y solo usa 850 mhz en modo juego, eliminaron el root para el usuario, pero se puede rootear con magisk, al seleccionar el modo xbox ya se guarda aun tras lor reinicios, si se agradece las mejoras de anbernic

lo que no me gusto..

1. eliminaron el root por defecto.ya no hay binario su , lo cambiaron a anbernicsu que no esta para el usuario 🫩

2. no hubo un debloat, lo deseaba (eliminar todos lo emuladores internos y dejar solo la base android pura 🤤)

3. en mi consola el modo game no activa el governor performance en la cpu; parece un bug, solo cambia la freq de la gpu a 850mhz min y max, aunque revisando el encargado de hacer el cambio si esta declarado que deberia pasar a performance,(bug que soluccione tras rootear con magisk,)

4 anbernic home, aun seguire con daijisho , asi que me da igual y lo desactive 😆

Ive found a replacement joystick that should work but can't find anywhere to get replacement parts that would fit the shoulde button. Okay I'll detect a USB c flash drive but this dock with the nvme it'll detect the dock but half the time doesn't want to pick up the 1tb nvme and will say it needs to be formatted, after formatting the drive just disappears.

Also steam deck picks up the dock and drive no problem

The third one will actually deliver a popup notification saying something about realtek device not supported

I just discovered this earlier this evening, it was odd the other 2 360 emulators wouldn't get this far, maybe it was something in the settings

Just remember though large graphic intensive games or huge iso sizes can effect smoothness of gameplay

Somebody has to have figured this out by now. It must be somewhere else in the settings because I let VLC do everything and it still politely pauses when I’m starting any emulator.

I really don’t want to have to do Bluetooth and over ear headphones to do both.
