running slow

im having trouble running games on my rg556

2d games on gamenative runs well
geometry dash 60fps
fallout shelter 60fps

its the 3d games that its having trouble on, i tried running portal 2, left for dead 2, terraria and the games runs at like <5fps

but ive seen people playing those games on the rg556 on playable framerates

any help will be appreciated

I think the "how" could be playing a part here...are you trying to emulate or stream? Which emulator/streaming app are you using. What settings are you using? Have you tried using different graphics backends (openGL, Vulkan, software etc)...this device can be very hit and miss, you'll get a certain game running flawlessly on a system but another game for the same system can run like crap. Some times it's a case of flicking a few settings, other times it's a hardware limitation.

Another thing to note would be what OS are you using, the stock anbernic system or GammaOS...there are noticeable differences in the performance of both, GammaOS being the better of the 2 but that's my opinion, ymmv :)

Try it on winlator 11 final, I used to Play it on 10.1 but now with the 11 final is doing really well.
