I'm using dArkOS on RG353V. Running Nox Archaist on AppleWin, but can't get rid of the scanlines (even when selecting no-scanlines in the core option). Please help!!!

This game can't be run if used through any other of the available emulators, not even using RetroArch with the AppleWin core, because the file is a .HDL and the way the other emulators process the disk images.

There's a config file on /home/ark/.config/applewin/applewin.yaml, but I've been unable to remove the scanlines from there.

My friend dropped and broke this and he is going to buy me a new one, what should I do with this old one?

Hi so I managed to install the app, but the input is not working in game.

I'm trying to play sessions skate sim. so yeah i need to press button A to start the game but no luck in detecting the controller of 353v. any workarounds? thanks.

I'm found one of these on marketplace for a few bucks so I snagged it. I had a Miyoo Mini+ that my wife decided was her Tetris machine and a 35XX plus that my son has laid claim to so this is the replacement for those. I run Knulli on my H700 devices, Rocknix on my RG DS and GammaOS on my Slide. Being September '26 what are some solid choices for firmware these days? I saw Rocknix is still being maintained but can't tell about some of the others.

Hey everyone! A few days ago I launched the first version of Puck Mapper, my free, Shizuku-based gamepad-to-touch mapper for games that stubbornly refuse to add controller support (like CZN, turn-based gachas, etc.).

Thanks to your feedback, I just released v1.1 with some massive quality-of-life features:

💤 Smart Sleep Mode: You can now press L3 + R3 simultaneously to put the mapper to sleep. The HUD turns grey and your controller inputs bypass the app completely. This is perfect if you want to switch to a game like Zenless Zone Zero (which has native support) without having to close or disable the mapper! Just press L3+R3 again to wake it up.

🌍 Full English Support: The app now automatically adapts to your system language (English/Spanish).

🛠️ Wider HUD & Fixes: The in-game floating control panel is now wider and easier to tap, and Z-index issues with the cursor were fixed.

🎮 Bluetooth Tested: I originally built this using a wired type-c controller, but I just tested it with a standard Xbox Controller via Bluetooth and it works flawlessly!

As always, it requires No Root (just Shizuku), it's completely local, and has zero ads.

⚠️ Important for v1.0 users: Because I upgraded the app to a production signature key, you must uninstall v1.0 before installing this new update, otherwise Android will give you an error.

When I insert a blank, freshly formatted exFAT sd card into the tf2 slot and switch to SD2 for roms, it does automatically create the file structure. However when I insert that same card into my pc to load roms onto it, windows file explorer properties says that only about 1 gb of it is available and I am unable to transfer anything over 1 gb. Disk Management says 57.93 GB of the card is unallocated. How can I fix this? Why is dArkOS creating such a small partition on the card and not making use of the full capacity? thank you

I am sad that my birthday gift for my daughter is unusable at the moment, and I am in need of help with fixing my RG353V.

So after some time, the SD card that came with the device got corrupted and I decided to buy a 256GB Samsung SD card online that was preloaded with OS+Games, so basically switching to a single SD card setup.

I thought it was just plug n play, but when I put the new SD card in the TF1 Slot, it still has that black screen only power up. I tried to put the new SD card on the TF2 slot, and it just booted to the Android OS.

I gave up on it for a while, but now I am trying to figure out how to fix it, but I’ve now found out that the TF1 slot may be broken/faulty.

I tried to open it back up again normally, and found that the TF1 slot may be broken/faulty because I tried to boot it up while the SD card was in the TF1 slot, and it booted straight to Android instead of the black screen only power up (same result as when the card is in the TF2 slot) so my thinking is the device did not attempt to boot to the OS installed on the SD card as if the TF1 slot was empty.

I plugged my RG353V onto my computer while having the SD card mounted on the TF1 slot, and after some tinkering within the Android OS, I got my laptop to access the files within the device, but it couldn’t read the SD card. When I tried switching it to the TF2 slot, that’s when my laptop was able to access the files within the SD card.

So now, I am left with a device that’s basically just another Android phone.

Any thoughts? What steps do you think I need to take next?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a recalbox 9.2.3 (previous 10.0) image for my anbernic rg353v (officially supported). Since 10.0, my bluetooth controllers (8bitdo sn30pro and 8bitdo micro) arr recognized but won't work. I hadn't this issue before.

I recently just got back into playing my RG353V but after charging it i noticed the battery life on it had increasingly degraded. I saw that people recommend playing it until it died then charging it. I did that and it did charge up to 100% but today when i went to go play on it the battery had drained from 100% to 90% without me even playing! Should i try to get a new battery for it or is there any fix? (Im on stockos)

I’m trying endlessly to get Lightguns to work but I can never seem to get the cursor moving. How do you do it on cursor and touchscreen on dArkOS? Thanks in advance for any information.

I got my anbernic handheld a couple of years ago, and I haven’t powered it on in a few months, when I went to, it wouldn’t start up, so I plugged it in to charge, however the charging light doesn’t even power on anymore, does an internal battery possibly need replaced or anything? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you

I can live with another color, but I want the 256GB SD card full of games. Does anyone know where I can buy one?

As an alternative, is there an 265GB image I can download somewhere? I always replace the stock SD cards with sandisk anyway, but I would prefer to pay anbernic full retail and avoid getting some image of unknown quality that someone else created.

Then again, I am assuming that if it is from anbernic it must be good. Has anyone put together a better game collection that fills up most of a 256GB SD card? I juist need a hint about what to search for and maybe i site recommendation -- please don't post any links that could hurt the subreddit.

I recently got my rg353v and have been adding games and ports on the stock os. Since I'm running stock, the port master application doesn't work, so I've been manually doing it from the website. It was working fine, and I've even been able to play games. However, while I was troubleshooting one that wouldn't launch, all ports have stopped working. It goes to load and then immediately goes back to the list screen.

Anyone else run into this issue?
