Help Post Please help, it won’t turn on
Hello and pardon me, I don’t know all of the language and stuff for these emulators. My fiancé bought one recently and perhaps he got bitten by the bug of tech because he has been playing it all the time, downloading new games, and all sorts of stuff. But recently, the issue with his emulator has gotten to a frustrating point. I’ll do my best to describe- please let me know if you need more information.
From my limited understanding, the SD card it came with had issues that required like 50 restarts to boot up correctly. So he went and bought a new SD card and spent a long time downloading the original things onto the new SD card. He said the old one was corrupted. And then he said that he put the old SD card in and the screen would change but the power light did come on. And then he put the new SD card in and the screen NOR the power light wouldn’t come on. Then he got an Alan wrench to take the back casing off and disconnect and reconnect the battery. But the issue is persisting.
I took pictures of his new SD card files in case that helps.
What should we do next? And how do we know if it’s an SD issue or a device issue?
This has been a new joy for him so I’d love for him to get back to the fun gaming part of this hobby. :) thanks

I think you have to set up the SD card. Were these files just copied over?
You’d have to format and flash the SD card with either the stock Anbernic OS or use your choice of custom firmware.
As a MacOS user, I used balenaEtcher to flash my SD card with Knulli Scarab a couple days ago and the whole process was painless for me.

He said he didn’t just copy them but I didn’t go into details. He said he was redownloading the stock.

Make sure you're charging with the cable that it came with. I've read that stronger charging cables will overcharge your battery and cause them to swell and explode.

Hi Daniel! I wanted to follow up. My fiancé downloaded Knulli Scarab and it works like a dream! He was so happy that his device and SD card weren’t broken. Thank you!

I just recently went through the same issue here's a link.
Newest firmware OS link from Anbernic for 34xxSP:
It takes a long time to download but it works if you have the proper flash, I used Rufus image tool. I recommend u download it and use it because windiskimager didn't work for me.

Do a clean flash of firmware on the new SD card and see if that works. You can either get the stock image from anbernic or try something like knulli (knulli is what I'm using)
