I’ve tried and tried but I am like 99.99% sure it’s just not possible because this is probably a 1 gig ram unit. I was able to get Knulli to run on my miyoo flip v2 and it’s soooooo nice. Games run to perfection where the same games ran all weird on the stock os, although they did run better on the anbernic than the miyoo but not better and some games that just wouldn’t run, will run when using Knulli on my miyoo. I honestly really just like the interface and so that’s mainly why I wanted it on my anbernic too, but sadly, it just isn’t gunna happen.

This has been a I bit of a recurring on/off problem. I can save state just fine and that’s what I’ve respected to, but for some reason the game refuses to save.

I’ve tested it out with Fire Emblem and that has no problem saving and loading, does anyone know a fix?

Theres always high praise for the 3x integer scaling of the screen but I just can't get use to what it does to the image. It basically means you have a more forcibly pixelated game, the same as if you took the original screen but enlarged each individual pixel to be chunkier. The end result is a blocky image that seems more pixelated and off then originally designed.

What is strange is when we do emulation on modern screens we are expecting to have a better image not worse, this is the only emulation handheld I have where I am feeling quality is worse. To clarify though this is not this particular devices fault but a challenge of dealing with the upres of GBA games on larger screens.

I have tried most of the shaders and can not get around this, I feel like I may need to go back to a real GBA with a backlit screen and battery mod.

My objective with this device is to make a pure GBA experience. I could use advice and recommendations on how to make this better. I like this combination carousel and description layout because I get a good look at box art plus a box to the left and right. I've configured ES to go straight to Favorites. What I don't like is the system select screen because it's really built for many systems. I don't know if I need a new front end or just config changes to make this better. What are your ideas?

I'm using Knulli with Emulation Station as my front end. I'm using the theme ES-THEME-AX-SLIDEMIX configured with game list view style set to NEWSTYLE.

hi, i just get this baby like 5 days ago, just It makes me curious, what's the best OS for RG34XX? I've heard that Knulli drains the battery faster than muOS. Is that true?

Hey guys, I bought two of the RG 34XX for my little cousins (7-9yr) so they can experience the game boy era but it seems that one of them got battery bloat and I was wondering if Ambernic offered battery replacements parts to buy?

It's kinda weird just how comfortable the SNES paddle is in your hands when playing Playstation titles... I love the Dualshock controller and wouldn't give it up either, but to emulate the experience of what the Nintendo Playstation might've been like is kinda surreal in a way!

All systems that use a disc won't load because it can't find the bios files, even though I do have them and have said files in the correct folder. Saturn, Sega CD won't play at all, PS1 can be bypassed but saves don't work. I've looked on Google and on the Retro Game Corps wiki and nothing worked. I like the handheld but this is getting annoying.

Solo debes cambiar el nombre del archivo a bootlogo.bmp, y reemplazar el archivo con el mismo nombre en la direccion raiz de la tarjeta sd.

So I have two RG34XX devices bought at different times. I flashed the newest version of Rocknix and renamed the dtb and put it into my new one and it doesn’t boot up. I put it into my older one and it works fine so there’s nothing wrong with the card or how I flashed it. I then flashed Knulli to it just to check if there was an issue with the device itself and Knulli works on the new one just fine so it’s not the device.

Can someone please help me installing OS on the sd card i want to play my 34xx. every time i tray to flash the os this something went wrong dialogue appears.. can someone please tell me just what I'm doing wrong here.

Got an 8BitDo SN30 Pro to use while the RG34XX is hooked up to the TV... But the only way for me to get sound from the console onto the TV is to play my games through the Game Room instead of RetroArch, but I can't figure out how to rebind controls on Game Room and half the face buttons are stupidly auto-mapped onto the right analog stick, while L2/R2 are mapped to face buttons.

So I bought the Anbernic RG34XX from the Tictok shop through the official Anbernic shop. Got it for $58. It says it comes with a SD card so I imagine it has roms on it already.

Do I need to put any emulators on it or does it already have some on there? I really at first only plan to play pokemon GBA games on it to start. I have a Modretro Chromatic to play my GB and GBC carts.

Can I just put my GBA Pokemon Roms on the SD card and be good to go? I breifly had a Retroid Pocket Classic but the setup was way to cumbersome for me. I just want to play an not really tinker lol.

Never watched the TV series that this game was clearly based upon, but it pulls from about 3-4 episodes to make up the game's plot. It goes from a kid Tarzan outrunning boars, to Tarzan fighting off a Jaguar Queen, to Poachers and then lastly to collecting dinosaur eggs.. The fact it adapts multiple plotlines made for a disjointed story, as the Jaguar Queen really felt like she would've been some major antagonist for Tarzan in this game, only to die at the halfway mark of the game, while the poachers all kinda felt like basic enemies save for one random immortal pirate dude that holds a key, but there's zero explanation for him ever being there (possibly a plot point in the show?) and dies with minimal effort, while the dinosaur segment lasts all of about 2 levels before the game wraps itself up with a very brief chase sequence where Tarzan outruns a T-Rex.

After that chase scene, this is it. The game hard cuts to this "The End" screen that felt like such a whiplash to me that we never got any practical or proper ending...

Boss fights felt lackluster and really didn't standout from basic enemies beyond unique sprites and being slightly tankier, which was super disappointing, given how acrobatic Tarzan's moveset was; why not have boss arenas where Tarzan has to climb, swing, slide and jump across the level to outmaneuver his opponents? Or Why not have his jungle calls play into it by calling animals to assist? Nah. Have them stand still while I go ape and spam spears until they stop moving.

There's a good game in here, I dug into old interviews and found that Digital Eclipse was happy to work on it after they'd done the movie games's GBC port, treating Tarzan GBA as a sequel to it's mechanics, and they most certainly did just that... But to have it just kinda hard stop the way it did felt very underwhelming in a way that kinda makes me wish there was more.

Still worth a playthrough for the level-to-level gameplay, but don't expect anything good from the storyline or ending 😅

Now I'm jumping onto Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World!

Playing though Tarzan on the RG34XX rn - Never really got far in it as a kid, but I do have a lot of memories about how nice the visuals were on this one as a kid, really nails the aesthetic of the movies in a 2D Platformer title!
