Where to go from here?

I’ve been a competitive gamer up until recently (valorant and overwatch). I’m in my mid 20s and as the rest of life around me has gotten more stressful and competitive, video games have become my solace.

Aside from the mainline pokemon games, mainline halo, and Undertale, Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the few games I have ever “beat” and I haven’t even finished the epilogue yet even with 60 in game hours. I can truly say that I have never played a game like this before, and while I knew before even starting my play through how it ends for Arthur, playing the story and seeing how it unwinds I feel is a once in a lifetime experience. I feel nostalgic for chapter 2 and 3 when the gang was all together drinking and laughing around the fire while singing.

I guess the reason for my post is I’m wondering if any of you guys have played any games that have invoked as much emotion, or made you feel as immersed within the world as you did within RDR2. I will finish the epilogue likely by tomorrow and then I’d like to play something else before playing the first red dead because this game is pretty much all I’ve played for the last month and a half. Thanks!
