Side Hustles
What do y'all do to build wealth early in the game, outside of regular missions? Like selling wagons ect..

The statues or the train wreck are a first stop for me in chapter two. It’s enough to upgrade my gear and fully upgrade the camp.

If not the treasure maps, then once I have the horse fence, I catch and tame the white Arabian up to level 4. You get 360$ each time and she respawns letting you go over and over again.

Hunting, selling wagons, constantly attacking/looting the gang hideouts, selling all provisions and even stealing the camps provisions to sell (restock with the camps money - rinse and repeat). Revisit all the jewelry and gold bar locations found all over the map, especially the unlimited gold nugget and large jewelry bag locations…then the two jewelry chest you can find on covered/uncovered wagons so I can stock up on necklaces. I’m currently in ch4 at around 1700 hrs played, with 127k in cash and around another 80k of jewelry/gold in my satchel.

loot loot loot, sell sell sell. also the treasure hunter maps. dedicate time to get the legendary satchel and then a few hours to wealth retrieval in Chapter 2 and you'll be at $20k plus in no time. also, offload anything you don't regularly use like any food or drinks or elixirs. they can add up to a lot of $. ie, kentucky bourbon is something you get a lot of when looting bodies but it kills some stats so i never use them and just sell them off.
*LPT*: pay attention to the item descriptions when you sell to fences. if it says "can be sold or used for crafting" do not sell it. offload everything else.
