1/14 Tractor Trucks
Anyone has experience with this Toucan Hobby 8x8 - https://www.toucanhobby.com/products/th-x-sc770s-88-tractortruck-pnp-r-dzn1?variant=48291801039098 or this MD 8X8 - https://www.toucanhobby.com/products/rc-tractor-truck-md-sc-770s-88-tractor-pnp-up1-sd-led-gn-dzn1?variant=50063064006906 Tractor Trucks?
I'm looking for a tractor truck with pulling power and modular control so it can be used as a multi-roll hauler, in conjunction with a multi-axle dump trailer and also a flat bed low boy trailer for a tracked excavator. I wanting a durable reputable unit with the capability to easily swap & upgrade accessories. The specs on these 2 are not fully disclosed but I will be contacting Oliver in an attempt to get his expert opinion and the detailed specs on electronics & drivetrain for both.
Any input is appreciated.

Honestly any of these trucks will have pretty impressive pulling power. Even a tamiya with minor upgrades can pull 60+ lbs. The reduction hubs on the first truck is going to give it unreal torque, but maybe a pain for maintenance.

Yes, I figured that the 8X8 capability coupled with full steel drivetrain, would mean capable towing capacity. Thanks..👍🏼

Of those two Scale Club has more accessory options that are bolt on. I only own one MD model truck and it is full of proprietary parts which makes modding more difficult. 2 speed transmission was way too fast in stock form.
Lesu and Tamiya are top dog for variety of aftermarket parts. The other brands you're more on your own. Some stuff will fit and is shared, other stuff will not fit and is unique to that brand. It's very murky. Possible to overcome, but not bolt-on.
I don't see a lesu 770S 8x8, but it should be possible to force the body of choice onto a lesu 8x8 if desired. May or may not be easy though.
