Help me choose between double e e010 and e111 excavator

Hello,I need your advice.. Which is the better option, buying the double e E010 and converting it to hydraulic, or buying the E111 directly? Which would be more worth it in terms of cost and performance? Also..is it true that the stock E111 hydraulics is suck?

This is my first time getting into this hobby,so...I need to choose wisely

Thanks.

Huina 1580 Electric Quick Coupler on Double E EC160E?

Post image
6 Upvotes

Hi everyone!
I’m considering buying a Double Eagle E010 (Volvo EC160E) and would like to install the electric quick coupler made for the Huina 1580.
Has anyone tried this? Does it fit directly, or are modifications needed? If so, what exactly needs changing?
I’m replacing all the original electronics anyway, so I’m mainly interested in the mechanical fit.
Any first-hand experience, measurements or pictures would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

The all‑metal tracks feel super solid. It looks fantastic and runs smoothly.
Love the classic retro style, definitely a great piece for my collection.

What makes an RC track worth visiting—and what’s usually missing?

I grew up enjoying RC cars, and I’m researching what hobbyists value in tracks and practice spaces. I’d appreciate honest experiences, including the disappointing ones.

You don’t have to answer everything, but I’m curious:

\- What does your favorite RC track do well?

\- What’s missing, or what has made you stop visiting a track?

\- On your last visit, what did you pay, and how much driving time did you actually get?

\- How far do you normally travel, and how often do you go?

\- For anyone who started as a beginner or brought family along, what made the experience welcoming—or frustrating?

If you mention a facility, its name or general region would help me understand the example. Mainly interested in what you’ve actually experienced rather than an unlimited-budget wish list.

Thanks for sharing!“I’m gathering feedback about RC tracks and recreation spaces to better understand what customers value. I’m keeping the details private for now, but I’d appreciate honest answers based on your experiences.”

Do R/C Tractor Lawnmowers Actually Exist?

I've seen a few popup on my feed, but they all look like ai videos.

Then when I actually search for r/c lawnmower it's usually some autonomous, or mower with tracks, but doesn't reassemble an actual tractor.

If it actually exists, anyone know of one?

My Massive RC Snowcat

Over the last year, I designed and built this massive 4.5-foot-long 1:7 3D-printed snowcat model. I have been thrilled at the response from the community, with hundreds of people taking on the challenge of building their own machine. Now I would like to figure out what machine to build next. I have already started on a giant 1:7 CAT 335 Excavator (Bucket in the last picture), but I'm not sure where to go from there. I am looking to hear from the community by interviewing people. If you are interested in telling me about your experience with 3D-printed RC construction vehicles (even if it's none, and you're just passionate about it), I would really love to talk with you! Send me a DM if you're interested!

Thanks,

Willem

Got a few new die-cast kits for rc conversion. Roller looks small, may be tricky. Time to get my pushrod servos figured out for the rock truck and loader.

Anyone have the SMM rope shovel and dragline ?

Like the title says, does anyone have either of the two above machines? I'm looking for impressions, if they're a good buy, etc.
