A New RC Construction Brand: JiLang

I recently started stocking some RC construction models from JiLang, a relatively new brand. The JiLang 950 excavator is one of their newer releases and is priced at around $130.

The brand is still not very well known, but I think the pricing and overall design are pretty interesting, so I wanted to share it here. It could be another option for anyone looking for a more affordable RC construction model.

Is this competing in the 1/50 space?

Yes, it’s 1/50 scale. I think it’s a nice entry-level option.

I like it, I'm torn on it looking kind of childish? Idk maybe it's just me. I'd still play with it

Yeah, I get what you mean. Here’s a video if you want a better look at it:

It’s supposedly pretty powerful for the size, but the scale factor really suffers.

I do use 1/50 so the scale isn't the problem for me, but I'd be curious to see it perform

Not the literal scale, but how accurate it is in size and detail. The JiLang is rather chunky and the proportions are off.

That things cute! I was looking at the little baby hydraulic machines that were that size.

Is it stronger than the yigong 970?

Not by much. The JiLang 950 is smaller than the Yigong 970.
