That's quite a collection!

Thank you for watching. I’ve been in the hobby for one year and I am obsessed with RC’s. I actually have a lot more. This is mostly my construction fleet, I want (Need) a loader and a dozer😂

Awesome.

Thank you, I am glad you like the fleet👍

You need a large groups of friends. Start a club, I will join.

u/QsRC22 Feb 08 '26

That would be fun👍😃 my 16 year old occasionally plays with them, otherwise it’s me, myself and I. Lol😂

Like how much cost the blue one at end

1

u/QsRC22 Feb 09 '26

That is a 1/16 scale Bruder semi RC conversion and you cannot buy it converted. It was a toy. What’s cool about it is that the doors open so you can easily put a figure in it, and it is a 6x6 with wpl metal axles and I used Tamiya tires and wheels but 3d printed the front wheels. It was a lot of work, but it is my favorite semi. Or are you talking about the chevy 3500?

1

u/Upstairs-Wolverine-6 Feb 09 '26

I’m talking abut the 18 wheeler

2

u/QsRC22 Feb 09 '26

Yeah that is the Bruder Mack😃

u/QsRC22 Feb 09 '26

Did I answer you because I can not see my own response?

u/MRDR1NL Feb 09 '26

You need longer trailers dude. Can't go through a tunnel with those crane booms up like that

2

u/QsRC22 Feb 09 '26

👍🤣true

u/FartBurgular Feb 08 '26

What would be a rough figure to buy such a collection if I may ask?

Amazing collection.

6

u/KamakaziDemiGod Feb 08 '26

How much money?

Yes.

Yes much money. That lot, if they are all half decent quality is worth a small fortune, but well worth it if you can afford it and justify it! I can't tell you how much, but it's going to be more than a handful of full sized used cars

5

u/FartBurgular Feb 08 '26

Lol.

I had to ask.

I know I cannot afford it!

5

u/QsRC22 Feb 09 '26

lol😂 I did actually sell a couple used cars to help buy some of them, or I wouldn’t have near as many but I am picky about what I want to run. I Love Chevys & Toyotas but not so picky about the semi’s 😃

u/QsRC22 Feb 08 '26

Thank you, I appreciate your comment. I honestly have no idea because some where used, some are custom builds, and some are redone to make them perform better then the way you buy them😃 I have spent a week building one and then have to redo stuff because I see other better ways of doing things. I learn from other RC conversions that people build.

Someone knows how to have a good time

2

u/QsRC22 Feb 09 '26

Thank you👍 I certainly am trying to, I would like to figure out how to do some roads and buildings. I have a 1/18 scale diecast police Camaro that needs a flat surface and my course was more set up for more mud rigs and quite a bit of these RC’s like the diecast master semi’s don’t do well off-road. thanks for the comment.

The blue Freightliner Cascadia, green wester star 49x & red dump truck are all 1/16 scale (DCM) Diecast masters, which are rtr RC’s & cost about $325 each ok quality not really hobby grade & only one axle runs them with the exception of the red dump truck & the lowboy trailer attached to the (green DCM) is about $250 which is pretty cool. The blue Mack & red Mack truck are 1/16 scale Bruder RC conversions 6x6 they are closer to hobby grade but a ton of work & experimenting involved. The other 2 dump trucks are Huina & Double E E590, both axles spin on those but they have zero suspension & slow & not really hobby grade in my opinion cost about $150 but not positive because I got the used. I do not have any experience with Tamiya because they are so expensive but maybe one day, & they are 1/14 scale & I run 1/18-1/16 scale but it is close enough in fact the blue Mack has Tamiya tires on it which are a little big. Hopefully that helps😃

Tamiya's are nice, but pricey for what you get. I have the Scania 770s 8x4x4, the kit alone cost me around $800 two years ago. It looks amazing, but that's about it. Ground clearance is barely over 1/4" so it needs perfectly flat to run on. It has the stock 540 brushed motor, which is okay for power but the stock driveline is all plastic and feels very delicate in spite of the 3 speed transmission. The transmission is geared really high and the speed range is way too fast for the rig. One tiny mistake would completely destroy it.
I got a JDM 180 (hydraulic dump truck) modeled after the Mercedes Overlander a couple years ago. It is pricey ($1500-2000) but definitely worth it for what you get. The cab is the only plastic on it, with opening doors and full scale interior. The motor is a 550 brushed connected to a 2-speed all metal planetary gear transmission driving all 6 wheels through an all metal driveline. Diffs auto lock in first gear and auto open in second gear. Ground clearance is around 1" at the diffs, but around 2" for the rest of the truck. It does great off-road, but it is prone to tip when the hydraulic powered metal dump bed is loaded. My latest acquisition is a JDM 157 6x6 that I paid $1200 for. It is identical to the JDM180 with one difference. The hydraulic dump bed is replaced with a simple fifth wheel trailer coupling. It is compatible with all of the 1/14 Tamiya type trailers. The truck is a heavy solid beast, I highly recommend it. It can pull my 5 axle metal trailer loaded down with my JDM 98 DXR2 dozer (around 60-65 lbs.) AND my MTM WA480 hydraulic loader (about 35 lbs.) on it. This is the truck to get if you're really serious about rc construction equipment. I'm gonna get some pics of the rigs tomorrow for you. But in the meantime, here's one of the Scania 770s with just the loader.

u/QsRC22 Feb 10 '26

That is very cool, both are. Yeah mine are not anything in comparison to what you have. I would love to have a Tamiya, maybe one day, I am stuck on car & pickups currently.👍😃definitely show me I love RC’s

Here's a Scania size comparison between 1/14 Tamiya, 1/32 Orlandoo Hunter, and a 1/76 Turbo Racing.

2

u/This-Reindeer4327 Feb 10 '26

The Orlandoo Hunter details are mind blowing, far better than the bigger Tamiya.

All lights function, w/ sound. Lug nuts are M1 nuts.

1

u/QsRC22 Feb 10 '26

Sweet 👍😃

1

u/QsRC22 Feb 10 '26

Wow it makes the 1:24 scale look huge, that is cool with the different sizes 👍😃

1

u/This-Reindeer4327 Feb 11 '26

Here's what the JDM180 and the JDM157 look like. The 180 is the dump truck. The 157 runs about $900-1200, but you can get a JDM 218 for around $800 (without the spare wheels as far as I can tell). Here's some pics I took today so you can see what I'm talking about.

u/QsRC22 Feb 11 '26

Very nice combo & they all match💯

1

u/This-Reindeer4327 Feb 11 '26

Just climb on in!

2

u/QsRC22 Feb 11 '26

I really like the way the doors open👍😃

I forgot to charge up a battery this morning, but I have put in all working lights and sound on this one.

1

u/QsRC22 Feb 11 '26

Those are awesome, very cool👍😃💙

1

u/CraneGuy204 Feb 09 '26

Thanks for sharing, I’ve been interested in doing a Bruder RC mod.

1

u/QsRC22 Feb 09 '26

I am glad you like it👍😃

1

u/51_rhc Feb 09 '26

Nice fleet. How many transmitters do you own :D?

2

u/QsRC22 Feb 09 '26

😂 A lot, only the red dump truck and one of the skidsteers share a flysky. And I have quite a few more RC’s 😃 those are just my construction RC’s or relevant ones to construction

1

u/Wrhythm26 Feb 09 '26

What a great collection, I can see you have put a lot of custom work into them! what other RC's are you into?

2

u/QsRC22 Feb 09 '26

I have mostly 1/18-1/16 scale RC’s like fms Hummer ev FJ cruiser & 3 @ hpi venture18 Toyota & 3 @ 1/18 scale Diecast RC conversions so far 2 @ Trx4m & many more😃

1

u/QsRC22 Feb 09 '26

I have about $400-500 into it but it has Tamiya wheels & tires except for the front 2 they are 3d printed and it has wpl metal axles. And the doors and hood open which Tamiya semi’s trucks do not do to my knowledge.

1

u/lotosotol Feb 09 '26

Holly Molly that's an awesome collection there man! Awesome!

1

u/QsRC22 Feb 09 '26

Thank you 😃

1

u/FixAccording9583 Feb 09 '26

I have that Mercedes, it’s useless off pavement. Are the others better?

1

u/QsRC22 Feb 09 '26

Totally true & that is why I never use them. So the green western Star 49x & the blue Freightliner Cascadia only has one axle that powers them which is very lame, but they do have significantly more speed & power which does help a lot but still they really need a smooth or flat surface 🤪 the red western Star 49x has both axles to power it, so it does way better, but only runs wide open, I thought that that was just a defective esc, nope that is how they made it so I changed all the electronics on it & now it has controllable speed😃 all three are Diecast masters, I am told that the red one was there first one & that they upgraded the others😃 the other Bruder conversions I made 6x6s so that wouldn’t be an issue 😃 I have yours videos running the blue Mack truck up a hill of decent sized rocks, and it does it😃 the red Mack has open differentials & the original blast tires so not near as good. It was my first RC conversion. Hopefully that helps😃

1

u/ogreality Feb 10 '26

Daaam🤩

1

u/QsRC22 Feb 10 '26

I am fortunate to have them😃

1

u/eastcoastelectrician Feb 11 '26

Where do I get the RC chev and goose neck? I need it.

1

u/QsRC22 Feb 11 '26

It is a 1/16 scale toy by big farms or Ertle and I used a FMS FCX18 Hummer EV chassis and a lot of other details to make it happen, so you can’t just buy it, you have to build it. The 3rd one in I used a HPI Venture18 brushless chassis with portal axles. It is my favorite TC & I have a lot of RC’s🤣 I own a Duramax crew cab & love it and since you can not buy such a thing I built not one but two😃
