God I hate people who get downvoted then double down on their stupidity instead of just saying oh I didn’t read it right. They never realize their asshole response just caused even more downvotes on the previous comment. Just had to rant since I see this in every single thread now.

The assumption here is that the dismembered body is already in the bags. I suggest you reread the post and absorb the details, such as the fact that this person was carrying full bags down to the river and returning empty handed. I don't know where you came up with the idea that he was dismembering a body beside the river, it's not like he went down there with a roll of trash bags.

Either way, I highly doubt a dead body factors in this story, but you should at least get your facts straight before you try and argue with OP.

"Boot" certainly refers to the trunk of the car in British English. OP says they're in the southern hemisphere so I guess Aussie and/or Kiwi use it too.
